Цель урока: создать условия для формирования умений самостоятельно строить повествовательные, отрицательные предложения с модальными глаголами и применять данный грамматический материал в определенной речевой ситуации.

1) обучающая (предметный результат):

-формировать умение использовать модальные глаголы в устной и письменной речи;

2) развивающая (метапредметный результат):

- развивать умение планировать свою деятельность, развивать память и внимание;

- развивать умение монологической речи;

- повысить интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка;

- учить работать в малых группах (парах);

3) воспитательная (личностный результат):

- воспитать субъект межкультурного взаимодействия;

- воспитывать культуру общения и потребность в практическом использовании языка;

- учить учеников целеустремлённости, преодолению трудностей, воспитывать познавательную потребность учащихся.

1.Организационный момент. Самоопределение к учебной деятельности.

- Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning, teacher!)

- I'm glad to see you. (We are glad to see you, too.) I’m your English teacher. My name is T.V.

Please, come to me. Take the flag and take your seats. The first group is yellow. The second group is green. The third group is blue.

-Sit down, please.

OK. We will go a travelling. We are the youth international team. There is a map for you. You can see it on the table.

What emotions are you feeling at the moment? ( You have red envelops on the table, Please, choose the emotion of the moment.)

At the end of the lesson we check up how is changing our emotions?

-What date is it today? – thank you. Let’s write the date in your map.

-What is the weather like today? – thank you. Let’s find and choose a picture.

For communication in the travelling we need words. Please, open your books on p.69 Exercise number 38. Let’s repeat them.

The verbs to be to and to have to have the same meaning as must.
To be + infinitive:

They are to examine the pictures there.
They are to paint some pictures there.

Note: The verb to be to is used when some thing is planned or thought of as unavoidable.
To have + infinitive:

Ann has to cook dinner as her mоthеr left.
Ann has to buy bread and milk.
Ann has to рееl potatoes for the second course.
Ann has to fry sоmе cut1ets.

Note: The verb to have to expresses an obligation or necessity arising out of circumstances.
Must expresses supposition (in affirmative sentences).

Dick must be at home now. I advise you to ring him up.
Dick must still be reading the book. Не will not give it to you, I am afraid.
Dick must be ready for the party. Call him, please.
Dick's sister must be sleeping now. She didn't sleep at night.
Dick's sister must be tired. She passed her exams ahead of time.

Note: must + infinitive refers the action to the present. In this case it is rendered in Russian as должно быть, вероятно.

Jack must have torn his coat. He is looking for a needleand thread.
Jack must have broken the tap. The cold tap is leaking again.
Jack must have broken the telephone. It is out of order.

Note: The Perfect Infinitive refers the action to the past.

SHOUD, OUGHT

The difference between should and ought is very slight. Both verbs exprеss obligation, duty, advice. Ought is more often used to express moral obligation.
Should expresses recommendation, advice.

Ought expresses moral obligatrion.duty.

Тема урока: Модальные глаголы

Практическая – научиться использовать модальные глаголы в устной и письменной речи;

Образовательная – создать условия для осознания и осмысления грамматического материала по теме, его применения в новой учебной ситуации посредством использования технологии обучения в сотрудничестве;

Воспитательная – способствовать воспитанию чувства толерантности и взаимопонимания при работе в группе;

Развивающая – способствовать развитию умения анализировать информацию, а также работать в сотрудничестве с другими.

- Организовать работу в группах с целью изучения грамматического материала с применением приема “ Jigsaw ”;

- Организовать работу в парах, направленную на закрепление полученного грамматического материала (выполнение заданий);

- Осуществить контроль выполнения задания.

Планируемые результаты:

Личностные – готовность и способность к непрерывному образованию, включая самообразование, как в профессиональной области с использованием английского языка, так и в сфере английского языка,

Метапредметные – умение организовывать учебное сотрудничество и совместную деятельность с преподавателем и сверстниками;

T.: Goog morning, my dear students. Sit down, please. Glad to see you. Hope you are well today. Let’s start our lesson with some common questions. What date/day is it today? Who is absent? Why (who is absent for a good/disrespectful reason)?

2. Мотивация учебной деятельности, определение темы урока

T.: I have a task for you. Let’s revise the types of verbs you’ve already learnt. Please, do the task. You are to classify the verbs.

Teacher: Now we know who is healthy and who is not healthy. What do you do to be healthy?
Pupils answer the questions:
I eat apples every day.
I play sports.
I don’t drink coffee.
I sleep well.
I don’t eat a lot of sweets.

Teacher: Some children have problems, they wrote letters to newspaper and asked for help. Read the letters
and answer the question What problems children have?

Учащиеся читают письма в парах.
1)Dear Doctor,
I have very bad spots (сыпь).Should I go to the doctor? Maybe I have spots because I like eating chocolate? What should I do? Laura.
Comment on the letter (прокомментируйте письмо).

2)Dear Doctor,
I’m not sporty. I’m a bit fat. It’s not a problem for me, but children in my class tease( дразнят)me.

I’m a computer hacker. I spend a lot of time playing computer games.

Учащиеся говорят какие проблемы со здоровьем у Лауры,Сэма и Мартина:
Laura has bad spots.
Sam is fat.
Martin has no friends.
Teacher: Что можно посоветовать этим детям?
Pupils: (записать предложения на доске, выделяя глаголы "следует", "должен")
Лаура не должна есть много сладкого.
Сэму следует заниматься спортом.
Мартин должен делать зарядку и играть в спортивные игры с друзьями.
Предъявление глаголов must и should,фонетическая отработка, тренировка чтения.

Эти глаголы называются модальными.
Что в них особенного? (раздать справочный материал на карточках)

2. Исследование нового грамматического явления- модальные глаголы must ,should.
Учащимся предлагается работая в парах проанализировать справочный материал о модальных глаголах.

Изучают справочный материал, делают выводы:
-нет действия.
-выражают отношение говорящего .
-не изменяются в лицах.
-частица to после must и should не употребляется
Учитель фиксирует выводы на доске.

Как образуется отрицательные форма этого глагола?
