Тема урока : I want to he healthy. Food

Развивающая - способствовать развитию умений анализировать, сравнивать; критически оценивать содержание услышанной/прочитанной информации; определять достоверность представленной информации в соответствии с прочитанной, вносить необходимые поправки для восстановления достоверности, сопоставлять рисунки со словами, развивать умение самостоятельно оценивать свою деятельность и деятельность одноклассников на уроке.

Воспитательная создавать условия на уроке для пропаганды и формирования здорового образа жизни, способствовать формированию привычки правильного питания.

предметные: знать правило образования отрицательной формы прошедшего простого времени английского глагола; уметь использовать глагол в форме Present and Past Simple , в форме повелительного наклонения для побуждения к действию, использовать тематическую лексику в диалогической и монологической речи, запомнить взаимозаменяемые фразы to have ice - cream = to eat ice - cream , правила чтения буквы Uu в I типе слога, а также буквосочетания не;

личностные: осознавать важность соблюдения правил личной гигиены, здорового образа жизни, правильного питания;

Материальное обеспечение урока:

-для учителя: CD -проигрыватель;

-для учащихся: учебник, рабочая тетрадь.

Межпредметные связи: казахский /русский язык (формы прошедшего времени, глаголы в повелительном наклонении), самопознание, познание мира (нормы здорового питания).

Good morning/afternoon, children! How are you? Let’s start our class.

Children, today we are going to continue talking about health. Today we will talk about food.

Актуализация опорных знаний.

Цель: семантическая дифференциация лексики.

Список слов : bread, milk, bag, coffee, shop, apple, tomato, table, ketchup, book, pizza, pen, chocolate, yogurt, plate, butter, jam, hat, biscuit, cheese, lemon, square, banana, sandwich.

Усвоение новых знаний и способов действий.

Работа с учебником

Учащиеся должны прослушать аудиозапись и повторить за диктором слова, в которых буква Uu и буквосочетания ue читаются как звук ( jn : ].

Blue, glue, music, student, uniform, costume.

Упражнение 2. Read .

Задание направлено на формирование навыков чтения. Дайте 1-2 минуты на самостоятельное чтение, затем попросите учащихся поработать в парах. После того как они проверят друг друга, организуйте чтение текста но цепочке.

Упражнение 3. Read and choose the words with a long и sound.

Учащиеся должны выбрать и прочитать слова, в которых буква Uu читается как звук [ jii : ].

Keys: use, Tuesday, June, blue, Sue, music, cucumber, glue, uniform, costume.

Упражнение 4. Learn the new words.

Введите новые слова с опорой на наглядность: meat , pickles , lettuce . Отработайте произношение этих слов. Слова bread , sandwich , tomato , cheese знакомы учащимся из курса 2 класса, но рекомендуем повторить их еще раз.

Упражнение 5. Answer the questions. Then listen and read.

Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы, используя лексику из предыдущего упражнения.

Учащиеся прослушивают запись текста два раза. При необходимости

для устранения сложности восприятия информации учитель может объяснить значение некоторых слов, например were hungry - wanted to eat ; отработать технику чтения рекомендуется вначале индивидуально, читая вполголоса, а затем в парах, читая друг другу. Обратите внимание учащихся на способ перифраза словосочетания:

to have ice-cream = to eat ice-cream

Alibek and Ben were hungry. Ben’s parents were at work so the boys opened the fridge and saw different ingredients: tomatoes, some sandwich meat, cheese, lettuce and pickles.

Let’s take some bread and lettuce. Let’s cut the tomatoes and pickles. Let’s put cheese and sandwich meat on all of them.

Ben: Look! It’s ready.

Alibek: I think that’s too much for me.

Ben: Eat, Alibek. And let’s have ice-cream after.

Ben: Hmmtn, it’s a big sandwich but it's not a super big sandwich. Let's put in more ingredients. There is some jam in the fridge and some apples. Let's put eggs in too.

Ben: Mum, help us, please. We ate a super big sandwich for lunch and some ice-cream. We have a stomach ache.

Mum: Oh, boys. If you want to be healthy, you need to think how much you eat and what you eat.

Mum: The boys didn’t think that a super big sandwich and some ice-cream after it was too much food. Try to be healthy, kids!

Упражнение 6. Choose: True or False.

На послетекстовом этапе на контроль понимания прочитанного предложите учащимся прочитать утверждения и определить их достоверность к содержанию прочитанного текста.

Упражнение 7. Work with a partner. Look at the pictures and tell the story.

Организуйте парную работу учащихся. Они должны составить рассказ по предложенным картинкам.

Sample story: One day two friends were very hungry. They took all food from the fridge and put it on the table. There were four sandwiches, many bananas, oranges, some ice-cream, biscuits and juice. They were hungry and ateall the food. But then they had problems with their health/ they didn’t feel well. They called the doctor and he said they should not eat so much food. We should control what we eat.

Two little feet

Two little feet go tap, tap, tap.

Two little hands go clap, clap, clap.

One little leap up from the chair,

Two little arms go up in the air.

Two little hands go thump, thump, thump.

Two little feet go jump, jump, jump.

One little body goes round and round.

One little child sits quietly down. (Pantomime the words).

Упражнение I. Put the sentences from ex. 5 in your Pupil’s book in order. Write the numbers 1-8.

Расположить предложения из упражнения 5 учебника в правильной последовательности. Попросите ребят не заглядывать в учебник, а постараться выполнить задание по памяти. После выполнения задания они сверяют ответы по учебнику.

Упражнение 2. Complete the sentences with the words from the box . Заполнить пропуски в предложениях словами из таблицы.

T. – Thank you. Today we continue speaking about health and keeping fit. Please, answer my question: “What should people do to be healthy and to keep fit?”

P1. – To be healthy people should do sports.

P2. – To be healthy people should eat healthy food.

P3. – To be healthy people should have the right lifestyle.

T. – Yes, I agree with you. And how do you think, what shouldn’t people do to stay healthy?

P1. – To my mind people shouldn’t watch TV and use the computer too much.

P2. – In my opinion, people shouldn’t take drugs, smoke and drink alcohol.

T. – Well done! I’d like you to find out the rules of being healthy. I’ll help you. Please think, what do your parents make you do, and what don’t your parents allow you to do?

Ученики отвечают, используя конструкцию Complex Object, учитель заносит ответы в 2 столбика.

Примерные ответы учеников:

  • My mum makes me eat more fruit.
  • My mum doesn’t allow me to eat fast food.

T. – Thank you. Now you know the rules of being healthy. And do you know what can damage your health? What is it?

P. – I think smoking, drinking alcohol, taking drugs can damage our health.

Listening in details

T. – Yes you are right. The bad habits are very dangerous for your health. And now I’d offer you to fill in the table according to the tape. Find out what damage can we get having the bad habits.

Bad habits are very dangerous for our health. They can damage our body and our mind greatly. There are 3 main bad habits: smoking, drinking alcohol, and taking drugs.

People who smoke always have a cough. Their teeth are yellow and skin is unhealthy. Smoking often leads to a cancer of lungs.

People who drink alcohol usually have a headache. Drinking alcohol is very bad for heart. Such people always have slow reactions, less memory and they are very aggressive.

The most dangerous habit is taking drugs. The beginners usually have unclear

speech and slow reactions. They don’t live in a real world and like it. But then such people have blood and brain diseases. Taking drugs leads to the death.

T. – So now we know how to be healthy. And let’s speak about how to keep fit. Before we start let’s have a short rest. Here is a fitness instructor in our class. He’ll show us a master- class. Please stand up and listen to the instructor. Max, you are welcome! (Ученик дома готовил проведение занятия по аэробике. Выходит, становится перед классом и показывает движения под музыку, проговаривая при этом слова.)

Hands up, hands down

Shoulders left, right, turn around.

Jump, jump, turn around.

T. – Most people in the world do sports to keep fit. Read the information in the exercise 16 and find out how people keep fit. (ex.16, p.104)

Rules to keep good health

2.Football makes your legs and body very strong.

3.Skating is also a very good way of keeping fit.

4.Get up early and go to bed early to keep fit.

5.Take a cool/cold shower every day.

6.Never smoke/take drugs to keep fit.

7.Clean your teeth two times a day.

8.Wash your hands before eating.

9.You should keep to a fruit diet.

10.You should eat more dairy products.

11.Clean the flat with the vacuum cleaner.

12.Don’t read in bed, it may be harmful for your eyes.

13.Take long walks in the open air.

14.Take enough sleep(7-8 hours)

15.Sleep with your windows open.

16.Try to wake up happy.
