Я: Dear Friends! Ladies and Gentlemen, Children and Grown-ups! You are welcome to our foreign languages party, dedicated to the week of foreign languages.

Юля: Мы рады приветствовать Вас, дорогие друзья, на нашем праздничном концерте! Я думаю, вы знаете, что эта неделя в нашей школе – неделя иностранного языка. Все дети в школах нашей страны изучают какой-либо иностранный язык. А знаете ли вы, сколько языков существует в мире? (Обращение к залу) – около 3000 языков.

Я: Nowadays learning foreign languages is very important in our life. And today we propose you to learn English together. Because children of our school were preparing for this main event during all the week.

Юля: Изучение английского языка является одной из важных задач в нашей жизни. И сегодня мы предлагаем изучить его вместе с нами. Ребята нашей школы на протяжении всей недели готовили выступления, которые помогут нам больше узнать об английском языке.

Я: Even the smallest children of our school understand English. And now they want to speak about this.

Юля: Даже самые маленькие ученики нашей школы осознают важность изучения языка. И сейчас они сами расскажут вам об этом. На сцену приглашаются ученики младшей школы со стихотворениями о необходимости изучения иностранных языков. Встречаем их!

Я: The specialists and linguists have considered and realized that people speak in 2700 different languages approximately in our planet.
Юля: Английский язык – второй по распространенности в мире. Это язык международного общения. Большинство международных встреч, научных конференций, съездов проходит на английском языке. Это язык бизнеса, рекламы, это язык компьютеров.

Я: You are right. The second language in the world is English. People speak English not only in British islands but more then 45 countries use it as the second one.

Я: The modern person is difficult to exist without knowledge of the foreign language. And if you want to be cultural person, good specialist, you should have necessary knowledge at least one foreign language.

Юля: Современному человеку очень трудно обойтись без знания иностранного языка. И если вы хотите быть культурными, образованными людьми, хорошими специалистами, вам необходимо знание хотя бы одного иностранного языка.

Я: Of course, you must learn and know English language.

Юля: Предлагаем вашему вниманию окунуться в мир современной Америки. А сейчас мы хотим пригласить ребят 7-го класса.

Юля: Молодцы, ребята! Все мы знаем, что мир музыки и языков разнообразен. Можно играть на музыкальном инструменте, под музыку можно петь, а можно и танцевать. И сейчас мы приглашаем на сцену виртуозов танцев, победителей международных конкурсов учеников 11-А класса.

Я: It’s amazing dance! Thanks a lot.

Юля: Продолжая наш праздник, очень хотелось бы предложить вам немного попутешествовать по англоговорящим странам. Ребята из старших классов уже успели побывать в некоторых из них и, вернувшись с дальних поездок, готовы рассказать, что нового и интересного они узнали. Первыми, кто отправился в путешествие это 6-А класс. Они побывали в Великобритании. Давайте послушаем песню Travelling в их исполнении.

Юля: Of course! Конечно, Неля, мне очень понравилось. Вот отправлюсь в Great Britain и привезу вам королевские подарки (мечтая)

Юля: Вот тебе, Неля, хорошо! Ты уже общалась в скайпе по-английски. У тебя есть знакомые из разных стран, прям хоть сейчас можешь ехать в путешествие по миру.

Я: Yes, I have friends! And I know that girls of the 7-th form can speak English too. They even prepared song in English language.

Юля: Девочки 7-А класса подготовили песню на английском языке.

Я: Very-very nice, girls! We liked it so much.

Юля: Да-да, очень хорошая мысль учить английский язык с помощью песен.

Я: Of course, Юля! We all like to joke. There are a lot of funny situations not only in our everyday’s life but in our school.

Я: Thank you, boys and girls. It’s really very funny situation. How do you think, Yulya, are there any situations in our school?

Юля: Конечно нет. В нашей школе – исключено. Наш директор, Елена Николаевна, строго следит за тем, чтобы ученики тщательно изучали иностранные языки и не попадали в подобные ситуации.

Я: Hey, Юля! Do you know that school №2 is the best one in our town. How do you think, why?

Я: What a lovely fairy-tales teach us to survive in our difficult life.

Я: It was amazing!

Юля: Жизнь школы бурлит. Дети активны, стремятся познать новое, участвуют в массе разнообразных конкурсов, викторин и олимпиад. И в этом году наша школа не подкачала. Мы имеем победителей районной олимпиады по английскому языку и конкурса Малой Академии Наук.

Я: Of course, we have to know them face to face. So, let’s congratulate them.

Юля: Безусловно, давайте поздравим наших победителей. Слово предоставляется учителю, подготовившему гордость нашей школы Шевелин Лесе Валерьевне.

Я: Spring has come. All people were waiting for it so much. Spring is te season of love.

Юля: О, да. Весна – пора любви. О любви слагают легенды, поют песни. А песни о любви вообще понятны на любом языке. Встречайте Анастасию Фрундину.

Катя: - Сегодня у нас будет очень интересный концерт. Мы будем читать стихи, петь песни, танцевать, вы увидите короткие сценки, и, может быть, узнаете кое-что новое.

Катя: - The week of the English language is over. It was really cool English week in our school. Лиза: - Learn English! Катя: - Speak English!

Together: GOOD BYE!

The pupils are shouting and running between the desks, some of them are sitting on the desks. Two boys are fighting. The girls are laughing loudly. The bell rings. Nobody pays any attention to it. Only one pupil is sitting at the desk and reading. The teacher comes into the classroom and goes to her table.

The teacher/shouts/: Stop it! Take your seats! The lesson has begun! Good morning, children. First of all let’s revise some grammar rules. Do you remember the meaning of the category of person? The verb to be. “I am ill, he is ill, she is ill, we are ill, etc.” Bobby, go to the blackboard and write it down.

Bobby/writes on the blackboard/: All are ill.

The teacher: Oh, Bobby! Alice, if I say: I wash, you wash, he washes, we wash, they wash - what is it?

Alice: I think it is a bathroom and we are all very dirty.

The teacher becomes nervous. She writes two sentences on the blackboard: “John has been learning English for 3 years”. “Jane learnt English at school 3 years ago”

The teacher: Pete, where is the Present Perfect Continuous and the Past Simple Tense?

Pete: The Present Perfect Continuous Tense is next to Past Simple and the Past Simple Tense is near Present Perfect Continuous.

The teacher becomes angry: What are you talking about? Sit down! You know nothing! Albert, where is the subject?

Albert: I don’ know, madam. I haven’t got it. Look! /He turned out his pockets//The rest of the pupils are laughing. A girl is reading a magazine. The boys are playing./

The teacher /almost furious/: Albert, where is the subject? I ask you the second time!

Albert /sadly/: I should like to have your worries, madam!

The teacher: Who can find the subject in a sentence? Ann, please.

Ann: Well, I see there is no progress in the science of language. My father tells me that when he was a schoolboy they were making them look for this thing too. So they haven’t found it yet, have they?

The teacher /angrily/: I can’t listen to such silly answers! Who can write some adverbs? Tom!

Tom: I can. /Goes to the blackboard and writes/Highly, poorly,richly He reads:[higli] [purli] [rihli]

The teacher /screams/: That’s enough! Your English is very poor! You are unteachable! You don’t know grammar at all! What about reading? Have you read the text about O’Henry? What was O’Henry? Where was he born?

Bobby /shouts/: I know! He was an American cosmonaut and was born in Zvezdny Gorodok!

The teacher faints. All the pupils jump and shout: “The lesson is over!”

The 5 th form jokes.

Willie is at the party. There are a lot of things on the table.

“Do you want something more, Willie?” asks the host.

“No, thank you,” answers Willie.

“Well then,” smiles the host, “put some fruit and cakes in your pocket to eat on the way home.”

“No, thank you,” answers Willie, “they are full too.”

Mother to Johnny: “how was your exam, were all questions difficult?”
Johnny: “No mom, all the questions were simple, It was the answers which gave me all the trouble”!

Hi sweetie! How was school today?

Teacher: Tell me please. What is the purpose of having school?
Student: Without school there wouldn't be holidays and summer vacation.

Mom: What did you do at school today?
Tom: We did a guessing game.
Mom: But I thought you were having a math exam.
Tom: That’s right!

Boy: Our boss is so stupid.

Girl: Do you know who I am?

G: I am the boss’s daughter.

B: Do you know who I am?

B: Good (walks away).

Coffee and a Fly

A customer ordered a cup of coffee in a restaurant! The waiter served the coffee. The customer found a fly in the coffee. He called the waiter.

Customer: How do I drink this coffee!
Waiter: Don’t you know how to drink a coffee?
Customer: Waiter, see, there is a fly in my coffee.
Waiter: Oh yes sir, you are right! There is a fly in your coffee.
Customer: Waiter, I said, there is a fly in MMY coffee (He stressed the word MY)
Waiter: Oh don’t worry sir, the fly won’t drink much!
Customer: Waiter, it is swimming in my coffee.
Waiter: Sir, do you want me to get a lifeguard for the fly sir?
(Annoyed) Customer: the fly dead, it’s irritating!
Waiter: I guess, it doesn’t know how to swim properly.
Customer: How do I drink this coffee?
Waiter: Don’t you know how to drink? I will teach you!

He drank the coffee! And said, this is how you should drink a coffee.

Granny: Granddaughter, help us, please!

Granddaughter: All right, granny. I’m coming.

Granddaughter: Doggy, doggy, help us, please!

The doggy: All right, granddaughter. I’m coming.

The doggy: Pussy-cat, help us, please.

The cat: All right, doggy. I’m coming.

Ведущий 1. Dear ladies and gentlemen! We are happy to see you today at this special concert, which is dedicated to the ending of the Week of English at our school.

Ведущий 2. Надеемся, что в отличие от героев видеосюжета в зале собрались истинные любители и знатоки английского языка. И мы точно знаем, что наши учителя - самые классные учителя в мире. Согласны?

Ведущий 1. А знаете ли вы, зачем нужно учить иностранный язык, и сколько языков существует в мире?

Ведущий 2. Специалисты – языковеды-лингвисты посчитали и выяснили, что на нашей планете люди говорят приблизительно на 2700 различных языках. Самый распространённый язык - китайский, потому что население Китая составляет около 1,5 млрд., но на этом языке говорит только население Китая и некоторые страны Юго-Восточной Азии.

Ведущий 1 . Второй по распространённости в мире – английский язык. На нём говорит около 400 млн. человек, но это не только люди, живущие на Британских островах. Около 45 государств используют английский язык как первый или второй. Английский язык – язык международного общения. Большинство международных встреч, научных конференций, съездов проходит на английском языке. Это язык бизнеса, рекламы, это язык компьютеров.

Ведущий 1. Сегодня мы хотим показать вам, что изучение иностранного языка – это не только зубрёжка слов и грамматических правил. Изучение иностранного языка может быть очень весёлым и занимательным. И именно сегодня мы хотим отметить лучших из лучших: победителей и призеров конкурсов Недели английского языка – 2018.

Вед 1, 2: Дорогие ребята и учителя. Мы хотели еще раз показать вам, что иностранный язык необходим и важен. Без него не обойтись ни одному современному образованному человеку, который хочет развиваться, расти как личность, путешествовать, приобщаться к новым культурам, узнавать много нового, общаться, читать великие произведения и смотреть фильмы на том языке, на котором они были созданы. Иностранный язык для всего этого просто необходим. На этом мы с вами прощаемся, спасибо вам за уделённое время, до скорой встречи!
