Гуляя по парку в Москве никогда не было так хорошо как сейчас, Царицыно имеет даже больше, чем можно предложить.
Двадцать минут от центра города Москвы, и Вы найдете Царицыно. Это огромный дворец и парк, официальное название которого Государственный историко-архитектурный, художественный и ландшафтный музей-заповедник Царицыно. Парк занимает площадь более 700 га и имеет красивый пейзаж. Воды пруда Верхний Царицынский вместе с прудом Шипиловский и Борисовский образуют самую большую группу прудов в Москве.
Дворец был построен в качестве королевской резиденции для Екатерины Великой по проекту знаменитого русского архитектора Василия Баженова в романтической готике. Тем не менее, после десяти лет строительства, царица была недовольна и велела разрушить многие здания, когда она увидела их в 1785 году. Другому архитектору, Матвею Казакову, было приказано перестроить дворец, но он не был завершен до смерти Екатерины.
В течение следующих двухсот лет роскошная недвижимость превратилась в величественные руины. Taking a walk in the park in Moscow has never been so good now that the Tsaritsyno Estate has even more to offer.
Twenty minutes from downtown Moscow, you will find the Tsaritsyno Estate. It is a huge palace and park whose official name is the State Historical, Architectural, Art and Landscape Museum Reserve Tsaritsyno. The park covers an area of over 700 hectares and has beautiful scenery. The waters of the Upper Tsaritsyno pond together with the Shipilovsky and Borisovsky ponds form the largest group of ponds in Moscow.
The palace was built as a royal residence for Catherine the Great by the famous Russian architect, Vasiliy Bazhenov in a romantic gothic style. However, after ten years of construction, the tsarina was unhappy and tore many of the buildings down when she saw them, in 1785. Another architect, Matvey Kazakov, was ordered to rebuild the palace, but it was not completed before Catherine's death.
Over the next two hundred years the palatial estate turned into majestic ruins. Although it was abandoned, it became a favourite place for Muscovites to spend time outdoors. Finally, in 1984 a decision was reached to completely restore Tsaritsyno's architecture and park, and make it the home of the State Museum of Arts and Crafts of the Peoples of the USSR. The majority of the architectural monuments have now been restored and the grounds have been renovated.
Today visitors can see collections of modern arts and crafts including porcelain, glass, ceramics, decorative textiles, tapestries, leather, jewellery and more. Original creations from leading artists of various generations, national schools, and artistic orientations are on display. Excursions, educational programmes, concerts, festive events as well as the beauty of the park and ponds also await visitors.
The restoration of the Grand Palace was completed by the end of 2007. Large-scale restoration and landscaping of the park and the ponds were also carried out. Tsaritsyno, a jewel of Russian culture, has a grand future.

Spotlight on Russia visits Moscow’s underground palace.
Moscow is the capital city of Russia. It is one of the largest cities in Europe. Around eleven million people live there. Many tourists visit Moscow every year to see its famous sights and fantastic architecture.
The most popular means of transport for locals and visitors is the metro. The Moscow metro is very fast. It has 164 stations around the city and it is always very busy. Seven million passengers use it every day from 6am to 1am. Passengers can tell where a train goes from the voice of the announcers. All trains that go to the centre have a male voice and trains that go away from the centre have a female voice.
The metro goes to all major sights. The Station Ploshcad Revolutsii takes you to the Kremlin and Red Square. The metro station Teatralnaya is near the Bolshoi and Maly Theatres. But the metro is also an attraction in itself. People call it "The Underground Palace”, because many stations are really beautiful with mosaic ceilings, wonderful chandeliers, beautiful sculptures and brilliant paintings.
For a real life adventure, every visitor to this beautiful city should take a ride on the underground metro. It is one of Moscow’s major tourist attractions.

1 ) We have comfortable climate where I live. There is a lot of snow and the temperatures are low in winter. Unlike winter, there is a lot of sun in summer that keeps everything warm.
2 ) In winter I like to ski in the forest. In spring I like to play with small paper ships in small water streams. In summer I like to swim in the sea. In autumn I like to walk in the forest and watch the red leaves on trees.

My favourite season is autumn. The weather depends on a month. In the beginning of autumn it is very sunny. But then the sky become grey. It starts to rain almost every day, fog lays on the ground. It starts being cold and windy. In early autumn I usually go camping. I love to pick apples and mushrooms. I think, autumn is the most beautiful season of the year.

Summer time in St Petersburg is very special but why?
Spotlight on n Russia visits “Venice of the North”.
People often say that St Petersburg is the ‘Venice of the North’. This is because it is a beautiful city with 90 waterways, 42 islands and 300 bridges. Every summer from June until July something wonderful happens in St. Petersburg. It is a wonder of nature that Russians call the ‘White Nights’.
Visitors from all over the world travel to the city to see this. During the White Nights the sun does not set completely and a silver glow fills the sky. This sight attracts tourists and locals who take to the streets to enjoy it and celebrate.
At night, crowds of people sing and dance by the Neva River. They watch the bridges open as boats pass by and fireworks fill the sky. A visit to St Petersburg during that time is a fantastic experience.
