Spring is time of year that everyone is waiting for after a long, snowy and cold winter. Spring consists of three months: cold March, playful April, tender May. This time of year is always welcome. The first signs of the arrival of spring can be seen in February already: the sun appears more often, icicles melt, pleases a merry drippings. Of course, frosts can still come on, more than once, but it’s clear to everyone that the spring is on the threshold.

And then she stepped on. The sky becomes brighter, blue and pure. The snow melts, and the streams rumble. The earth after the snow is still cold, but the first spring flowers — snowdrops — are already making their way bravely.

A special revival can be observed in the forest: animals get out of their holes, birds return from the south. The spring season is the beginning of a new life for nature. The buds are blossoming, and the first gently-green leaves appear. The first grass is visible. The days become longer, and the sun begins to warm the earth more and more every day. Особое оживление можно наблюдать в лесу: звери вылезают из своих нор, птицы возвращаются с юга. Весеннее время года — начало новой жизни природы. Распускаются почки и появляются первые, нежно-зеленые листья. Виднеется первая трава. Дни становятся длиннее, и солнце начинает греть землю все сильнее с каждым днём. В воздухе появляется приятный, свежий аромат цветущих деревьев.

Ещё одним признаком приближающегося тепла, является первая гроза в мае. Весенняя гроза — это прощальный взмах уходящей зимы. Воздух перед грозой пахнет не как обычно, по-особенному. Он наполнен свежестью и ароматами природы. Горячий, порывистый ветер, почти чёрное небо, первые, крупные капли дождя — все это знаки сильнейшей грозы. Раздаются мощные раскаты грома, сверкают яркие молнии на бушующем небе, на землю обрушиваются ливневые потоки, и насыщают её своей живительной влагой. Майская гроза — это одно из прекрасных и удивительных явлений природы, которое поражает силой и мощью стихии.

В это время года пробуждается не только природа, но и обновляются чувства человека. Многие ощущают прилив сил и энергии, отличное настроение и внутренний подъём. Весна дарит нам много замечательных праздников. Среди них, праздник, посвящённый всем женщинам — день 8 марта, и Пасха — день победы над смертью. День Воскресения Христа.

I think that every season is wonderful. Summer is warm and sunny. It is a period when many people have holidays or vacation. It is the time of fun and joy. Autumn is rainy and gloom but what may be better than reading interesting books and drinking hot tea at home when it is raining outside? Winter is cold but you may enjoy it playing winter games.

Spring is my favourite season. It is the time when nature awakes from long winter dream. Gradually it is getting warm and sunny. The snow is melting and the first flowers appear. Spring season is the most lively season of the year. People (especially kids) are fond of this time because of its beauty, slight cool and fresh weather. It is the queen of all seasons of the year and is considered to be the favorite season of poets. It comes after winter season and before summer season.

It is still cold in March. In my country it rains a lot and sometimes snows. However, bit by bit we can see the first spring flowers appearing on the land, among them are lilies of the valley, daffodils, violets and snowdrops. The nights become shorter and days get longer. March is also well–known by the celebration of March 8 or the International Women’s Day. On this day women relax and enjoy their holiday. Men give them nice presents and try to do everything to make them happy.

April is a warm month. Although, it is a rainy season, the weather is not cold anymore. On the first day of April we have Fools’ Day. It’s a holiday of laughter. It’s a time, when your friends can pin on you and play pranks on you or tell funny jokes.

May starts with Labor Day or May Day. It’s an International Workers’ Day in many countries. On this day people hold ceremonial parades. The 9th of May is another remarkable day. It’s a Victory Day, which is celebrated to commemorate the Second World War victims and veterans. The weather in May is fantastic. Although, it sometimes rains, most of the time it is warm and sunny on the streets.

I suppose, there are no such people who would not praise the beauty of spring. In the summer we have intense heat, in the winter it's too cold here, the fall is the season of rain and slush. It is only the spring season when we can't complain at all.
