If you have ever been to Great Britain or you like this country for sure you have heard about the Royal Family. The country is beautiful and it has interesting history. So the Royal Family is an important part of this history and every family member is pretty unique and interesting.
Well the head of the family and the whole country is Queen Elizabeth II. The is no a definite rule of who is or is not a member of the Royal Family. Normally they are close Queen’s relatives.
Her Majesty the Queen is a very busy person. She visits charities and schools, lead celebratory events and host visiting heads of State.
The members of the Royal Family are representatives of monarch in the country. Usually they took responsible posts.
The eldest son is Charles Duke of Wales. There are also Andrew, Edward and Anna. All of them are princes or princesses.
Queen has grandchildren and even great-grandchildren. They are William and Harry and also Lui, George, Charlotte and Archi.
Also the Queen has cousins. They are Edward, Richard, Alexandra and Michael. All these family members are very close. Of course sometime they have misunderstandings. Mass media often publishes news about them. The thing is that every family can have problems. It’s important how people can solve their problems.
The Royal Family has different rules. For example, they are not allowed to sign the pictures or posters, because their signature can be only on the official documents.
I think they are just usual family. The only thing is they are famous and paparazzi follows them. That’s why for them it’s extremely important to be polite, hospitable, kind and sensitive. They are monarchs and they need love and respect of their people.

During Elizabeth's reign England sent its explorers to different lands. They tried to find a quick way to India round the north of Russia. She ruled for the longest period in the English history, for 64 years! Victoria married a German, Prince Albert, but he died at the age of 42 in 1861. That was a great tragedy for Queen Victoria. She left London and never lived in the city where she had been so happy with her husband and nine children (5 daughters and 4 sons). But there are places in London that reminds us of their love. One of them is the Royal Albert Hall - a very large concert hall where the best musicians of the world perform classical music. In front of the Albert Hall there is a monument to Prince Albert built by Queen Victoria. Another place is theVictoria and Albert museum (V & A) with its rich collections of paintings and other works of art. The family life of Queen Victoria touched people's hearts. But this is not only reason why Queen Victoria became very popular. During her reign Britain became a rich industrial country with a developed trade, an empire with a lot of colonies.
