It is generally known that people differ in their morals, beliefs, values, and personality. So, in society everyone has different ideas on what role the family takes in life. Nowadays people face a difficult decision when they have to choose between career and family. What is more important then?
Pope John XXIII once noted, "The whole world is my family." Personally, I agree with this statement. In my judgment, nobody loves you more than your family. You can always rely on your family members, and they never let you down. They are your best friends, your teachers and your allies. You can always trust to their intuition, ask for any advice or open your heart. They will be always there to help you. And if you ever take a false step, be sure it is your family who will stand for you. So, those moments spent in the circle of your family are priceless.
On the contrary, there are people who spend more time building a career. In their opinion, to become rich and wealthy is the road to happiness and success. Those people seem to be more independent, purposeful and pragmatic. They have strict plans for their life and work hard to achieve success. There are also those who claim that friends are more important than family. In my opinion, people who have more contact with their friends than with their family members tend to feel lonely or misunderstood in their own family. It often happens when parents are too busy to speak with their children or to give advice. Besides, when parents are too authoritative or strict, children become estranged from them and confide in their friends. That is why parents should encourage their children to express their emotions and share their needs.
Personally, I believe that everything depends on how you establish life priorities. I would like to emphasize that friends cannot replace family, but family can replace friends. As for money, it will not buy happiness or cure a broken heart.
All in all, I still strongly believe that there is nothing more important in life than the bond of family. It is true when they say, "To have a family that is loving and supportive at all time is a blessing."

It’s a fact that every person on the planet desires to be successful. However, what does it mean? To begin with, to be successful means you can go back into time and be completely satisfied with all the things you’ve achieved and done, without any regret. One of the main peculiarity of success is to have a goal, which you should reach no matter what you'll have to face. For example, some people would like to create a stable family environment and a harmony in their homes. Others tend to get a profitable job and wallow in money. Furthermore, it's believed that if you want to gain success you only need talent. However, some people reckon that hard work can compensate the lack of it.
In my humble opinion, talent as well as hard work is very important, because of some reasons, presented further. First of all, if you’re not gifted or endowed with necessary skills you won't be able to become a profound specialist in the certain area or field of the modern world. But at the same time, you have to be a hard-working and industrious individual to have an opportunity to improve yourself. Secondly, it seems to me, that these two things are inseparably linked with each other. You know, they are like sufficient parts of the whole system.
Nonetheless, a talent alone won't be enough to become a successful human. According to some people's point of view, if a person is talented, they don't have to do all their best to achieve something, 'cause that's not urgent. I disagree with this idea. Without hard work, for each moment of triumph in your life, your skills won’t improve at all. It's better not to take your talent for granted because there's nothing without something.

Во–первых, быть успешным означает, что вы можете взглянуть на прошлое и при этом полностью быть удовлетворенным всем, чего вы добились и сделали, без каких–либо сожалений. Одна из главных особенностей успеха — достижение цели, которую вы должны достичь независимо от того, с чем вам придется столкнуться. Например, некоторые люди хотели бы создать благополучную семью и гармонию в своем доме. Другие, стремятся получить высокооплачиваемую работу и купаться в деньгах. Кроме того, считается, что если вы хотите добиться успеха, вам нужен только талант. Однако некоторые люди полагают, что усердная работа может компенсировать его отсутствие.
По моему скромному мнению, талант как и усердная работа очень важны исходя из некоторых причин, представленных далее. Прежде всего, если у вас нет выдающихся талантов или вы не обладаете необходимыми навыками, то вы не сможете стать видным специалистом в определенной области или сфере современного мира. Но в то же время вы должны быть трудолюбивым и прилежным человеком, чтобы иметь возможность самосовершенствоваться. Во–вторых, мне кажется, что эти две вещи неразрывно связаны. Знаете, они как важные составляющие целостной системы.
Тем не менее, чтобы стать успешным человеком, одного только таланта недостаточно. По мнению некоторых людей, если человек талантлив, ему не нужно стараться, чтобы чего–то добиться, потому что это неважно. Я не согласен с этой идеей. Без усердной работы за каждый момент триумфа в вашей жизни ваши навыки не улучшатся совсем. Лучше не принимать свой талант как само собой разумеющееся, потому что просто так ничего не бывает.

I am a cheerful person / Я жизнерадостный человек
My friends say that I am an optimist. I don’t know, maybe I am. But actually I don’t look at the world through rose-colored glasses. I just prefer not to worry about things that I can’t change. And I deal with one thing at a time. That helps me not to get stressed out.
I am a versatile person. I often drop my hobbies in order to try something new. Trying new activities makes me really happy. My mother says that I should be more persistent to achieve good results. But I don’t see the point in doing something I don’t like anymore. I think that a wide range of interests makes a person broad-minded.
I have many friends and I like to spend time with them. So I guess I am a sociable person and probably an extrovert. I like parties, concerts, sport festivals and other mass events.
I realize that I have some character faults. I am not always punctual. I may be forgetful and sometimes loose stuff. I have to use an organizer not to miss something important.
The assessment of your own personality might lack objectivity. But I guess that I am generally spontaneous and easy-going person.

У взрослых есть свои проблемы, несмотря на то, что они более опытные и умные. Алкоголь, наркотики, азартные игры – это их способы убежать от ответственности, повседневной жизни, решения проблем. Большинство преступлений происходят из-за алкоголя и наркотиков. Так много детей страдает от насилия их родителями, опьяненными алкоголем или наркотиками. Так много болезней существует только от употребления наркотиков и алкоголя. Так много смертей случается из-за этого, и никто не может снизить этот показатель на протяжении многих лет.
Я думаю, что мы, как современное общество должны прилагать больше усилий, чтобы удержать наших детей от этого пути, ведущим в никуда, только к смерти и боли. Никто не знает своей судьбы или будущего, но в наших силах бороться с распространением и употреблением наркотиков и алкоголя в обществе, особенно среди молодых людей. Нам нужны правильные власти, которые будут осознавать ответственность за народ и тяжесть этого бремени. Только вместе мы сможем открыть настоящее будущее для наших детей.
Society and its problems
As we live in a very modern society fully using the gifts of nature and technology it is not surprising, that we often observe different problems of people, who have lost the feeling of responsibility and humaneness. It concerns everybody, children and adults.
Children at schools no more play on the playgrounds, communicating with each other normally, help each other without waiting for something in response. They are playing virtual games, spending hours writing messages, watching movies and competing with each other on who has better clothes or cell phones. Moreover children had become more independent and self confident. It is good, that they know now their rights, but it is more than bad that they offend their parents, do not respect them and talk rudely to them.
Adults have their own problems, in spite of being more experienced and smart. Alcohol, drugs, gambling are their ways of escaping from responsibility, everyday life, resolving home problems. Most of crimes happen because of alcohol and drugs. So many children suffer from violence by their parents being drunk or drugged. So many illnesses exist just due to the usage of drugs and alcohol. There are so many deaths caused by this, and no one can reduce its rate for so many decades.
I think that we as modern humanity should take more pains to prevent our children from going this wrong way leading to nowhere, just death and pain. No one knows his destiny and future, but it is in our power to fight the distribution and usage of drugs and alcohol in the society, and especially among young people. We need the right authorities which will realize the responsibility for the people, and heaviness of this burden. Only together we can open the real future for our children.
