Тема эссе: Библиотеки становятся менее популярными и скоро исчезнут.
Я знаю, что мое эссе жутко кривое и с кучей лексических и грамматических ошибок: ( Может кто посоветует книгу о том, как писать эссе и лексику подтянуть?

Many people believe that public library will disappear soon.Others think,that libraries are popular yet and our children and grandchildren will use them in the future.Who is right?I agree with the first point of view.
It seems to me,that libraries become less popular.Today,there are a lot of ways to get book free.For example,you can download book on Internet and use it as long as you want.Moreover,you will never lose book,which was downloaded.Because it will on your computer or mobile phone.
There is another point of view.Many people argue that library are popular.They say,that in library you can find rare and ancient books,which do not sell in bookshops .What is more,people can do their exercise in library and do not be distracted.But I do not agree with this point of view.I think,that electronic books are more convenient.You should not go somewhere to get book and can use it everywhere,if you downloaded electronic book.
In conclusion,I would like to stress, that today people have a lot of ways to get books,thanks to Internet,therefore librery disappear, unfortunately.But we should try to preserve library like historical value.

Маленький совет от бывалого в библиотеках: запишитесь в приличную библиотеку, если есть возможность. И ходите туда хотя бы неделю. Такое эссе может написать только человек ни разу не работавший в библиотеке. Работавший, не в смысле сотрудник, конечно.
Нигде в инете вы не сможете собрать литературу в ее последовательном развитии (в какой-то тематике) .
Библиотека - это концентрация внимания человека на конкретном произведении, теме и проч.
Читать серьезные произведения, закаченные через инет, вы не будете в метро.
В читальном зале можно одновременно пользоваться множеством книг. Вы упаритесь листать электронные книжки в поисках строчки, фразы, цитаты, чтобы тут же открыть другую и произвести какое-либо уточнение, сравнение.. .

Касательно англ. языка: артикли + ед/мн. число - ваша большая проблема.
Учите глаголы не просто: do, а to do smth with smb, to do smth for . и т. д.

Public libraries are becoming less popular and they will soon disappear

There is at least one library in each town in my country. My parents said that in past they spent a lot of time there. They had no good and cheap internet when they went to school but they had to study and learn some new things somehow. You can come to any library and you will find hundreds of old but interesting books, classical literature, some encyclopedia and vocabularies. Many of these books are expensive, but if you need them you can always find them in the library.

Unfortunately public libraries are not so much popular anymore. People go there not so often and most probably soon libraries will disappear at all. I went to library just few times and basically only for interest. Today people prefer stay at home and use internet. Here you can find absolutely any information and books in any language. It saves our time and you don’t need to go again to bring back the book. I prefer internet because it’s more comfortable and there is no day off.

My parents still go to library sometime to see if there are any new books to read. Actually there are people who choose a paper book. I guess they just got used to read in this way. In big towns there are bigger libraries with bigger selection of books.

In general I like to read encyclopedia or use big vocabularies. They always have right information that’s why I can go to the library sometimes. But they become less and less popular today. Children stop to read and prefer to watch TV or to play computer games. Technologies develop nowadays and we have to follow them. I read books online, but I really hope that libraries will exist until there are people visiting them.

В моей стране в каждом городе есть обязательно хотя бы одна библиотека. Родители говорят, что раньше они проводили много времени тут. Тогда ведь не было хорошего и дешевого интернета, когда они ходили в школу, и им приходилось учиться и как-то узнавать новые вещи. Вы можете зайти в любую библиотеку и найдёте там сотню старых и интересных книг, классическую литературу, несколько энциклопедий и большие словари. Многие из этих книг достаточно дорогие и, если они нужны вам, то всегда можете найти их в библиотеке.

К сожалению, публичные библиотеки больше не пользуются особой популярностью. Люди ходят туда уже не так часто и, скорее всего, скоро библиотеки и вовсе исчезнут. Я ходила в библиотеку всего несколько в основном ради интереса. Сегодня люди предпочитают сидеть дома и пользоваться интернетом. Тут вы сможете найти абсолютно любую информацию и книги на любом языке. Это очень экономит время и вам не придётся приходить сюда снова, чтобы вернуть книгу. Я выбираю интернет, ведь это гораздо удобнее и нету здесь никаких выходных дней.

А вот мои родители все ещё ходят в библиотеку, чтобы посмотреть, не появились ли там какие новые интересные книжки. Вообще есть люди, которые предпочитают читать настоящие бумажные книги. Я считаю, что они просто привыкли читать именно так. В больших городах есть библиотеки побольше с выбором книг богаче.

Конечно, я люблю полистать энциклопедии и, бывает, использую большие словари. Там всегда можно найти точную информацию, поэтому, я периодически обращаюсь в библиотеку. Но сегодня они становятся менее и менее популярными. Дети перестали читать и предпочитают посмотреть телевизор или поиграть в компьютерные игры. В наши дни технологии развиваются достаточно быстро и мы должны шагать в ногу со временем. Я читаю книги онлайн, но очень надеюсь, что библиотеки будут существовать до тех пор, пока люди приходят туда.

In my opinion, despite the fact that libraries are becoming less popular, they will never disappear. Firstly, public libraries are free for people and the ones who cannot afford to buy books can rent them. Public libraries also provide some extra services like faxing and internet.

Secondly, not all books are digitized. There are some rare, ancient manuscripts, which cannot be digitized. There are also authors and publishers who do not allow for digitization.

However, there are some people who have an opposing opinion. They claim that all public libraries will be closed very soon. According to them, people do not go to libraries anymore.

Nearly all the books are on the Internet. As for printed book lovers, they buy them on bookstores. There is no need for libraries.

I cannot totally agree with that opinion. It is important to take care of Nature, but people forget that to read e-books everyone needs a gadget. Producing gadgets takes even more resources than producing books. Purchased books are read once, then they gather dust on shelves and finally they are thrown into the dustbin. There will be needed fewer books if everyone goes to libraries.

To summarize, I would like to say that libraries give access to information for everyone. They keep our history and have great potential in taking good care of Nature and reducing production without losing the source of information.

Приобретенные книги читаются один раз, затем они собирают пыль на полках и, наконец, выбрасываются в мусорный бак. Потребуется меньше книг, если все пойдут в библиотеки.

Подводя итог, хочу сказать, что библиотеки предоставляют доступ к информации для всех. Они хранят нашу историю и обладают огромным потенциалом в деле бережного отношения к природе и сокращения производства, не теряя при этом источника информации.

In my opinion public libraries will cease their existence in the near future. First of all , people read printed books less nowadays and they are being substituted by iBooks quickly. For example , if a person can read everything from home in digital form there is no need to go to a library. Secondly , to keep books in a digital form is more useful since they take much less space . For instance , one iBook can contain 1000 or even more printed books .

At the same time there are people who claim that libraries will be used for a long time. Going to a library is more than just to go to read a book or search for some new information, it is a chance to communicate with those who like the atmosphere for such places .

I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. Social nets and coffee shops have almost substituted libraries. People prefer to learn things in the Internet at home or in a café where they have the same communication with like-minded people.

In conclusion , I would like to say there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight libraries are a good place to visit, but in actual fact people almost do not go there nowadays. Thus , I strongly believe public libraries are becoming less popular and they will soon disappear.
