I believe that if our actions and words match with our values, life is generally good and we feel confident and satisfied. When it doesn’t happen we feel uncomfortable and unhappy. That’s why having own values is so important in each person’s life. They determine your priorities, sometimes our success depends on them. It helps us express who we are and create our future.

Many people say that values are subjective. But if values were objective, then everyone would value the same things. There for we can’t say that person’s values are universal.

On the one hand, everyone has their background, education, principles and life position. They follow to them. It makes one person be different from another. For example, friends are values to people who loves their company, career is value to people who wants to be very successful and has much money and so on.

On the other hand, I think moralvalues may be universal. Many people are convinced that being a good person means to help others, care about nature, have respect, honesty, patriotism.

All in all, even if our values are not universal they help us to live. We should aim to teach, hand down our best principles, give and get good education. And be grateful for what we have.

С другой стороны, я думаю, что моральные ценности могут быть универсальными. Многие люди убеждены в том, что быть хорошим человеком значит помогать другим, заботиться о природе, иметь уважение, честность, патриотизм.

В итоге, даже если наши ценности не универсальны они помогают нам жить. Мы должны стремиться, чтобы научить, передать наши лучшие устои, дать и получить хорошее образование. И быть благодарными за то, что у нас есть.

I do strongly support the idea that all countries of the world are united by common values. So everyone must have certain moral qualities. First of all, we should be very tolerant towards each other and to respect other people's opinions. It is necessary to learn how to solve international conflicts peacefully and prevent the world and civil wars. Secondly, the universal value is mutual assistance. In addition, the status of women’s rights varies in different countries. In Africa, the role of women is belittled. They should only do housework and raise children. In many other countries, women succeed in business and even do men's jobs.

Taking everything into consideration, I would like to stress that every country has its own culture but there are universal values that make all people better and help us to live in peace.

Modern youth has many difficult problems. It is not easy to be young. You are to make decisions that will affect all your future life. And these decisions should be right.

First of all, when we speak about young people we speak about so called father-sons problem. It is a gap between parents and their children, when they don’t understand each other. Many teens just leave homes because of lack of understanding. They try to find their place in the world. But on this way they need parent’s support and forgiveness. May parents be more sincere and considerate towards their children?

Another problem is acceptance. Every young person need to be accepted in society, in school, in the university. Young girls and boys have great desire to have approval from teachers and schoolmates. They need to feel themselves a part of this world.

They desire to be loved. Loved by parents, teachers, other people. Especially young people have sharp necessity of love. They are searching for love everywhere. They can give up schools, universities only because of passion to someone. The biggest fans are young people. They can follow their idol in to different countries. The problem of youth is subjection to influence. If you take youth’s attention you can lead them wherever you want.

It is not a secret for everyone that young people easily become addicted. It is because of their desire to try everything in life – smoking, alcohol, drugs and sex. They simply try, but later they become addicts. This problem is connected with the searching of truth. They are searching the meaning of life and when they don’t find it, they start taking drugs and alcohol.

Young people need to find their place in life. It is also a problem. Sometimes they just don’t know the direction to choose. They need good friends and teachers whom they can trust. They need the right policy of authorities to help them learning and to provide workplaces in future.

To my opinion, youth problem is the problem of everyone. We are society, we are all people on the earth and need to help each other. We need to know the direction where to go. We need to know the right way for ourselves and our young generation. May be belief can help youth to find the way?

I know exactly one thing – problems remain the same from generation to generation.
