I. Организационный момент
– Good morning, children. Sit down, please. Today we will have an unusual lesson. You will get to know about Halloween and take part in interesting competitions.
1-й конкурс команд (Cats and Bats) перед вами нарисованы две тыквы, с завязанными шарфом глазами вам нужно дорисовать глаза, нос и рот. Оценивается аккуратность и точность.
Обычаи
– А теперь, ребята, каждой команде я выдаю слова, которые мы сейчас прочитали, разрезанные на буквы. Вам нужно собрать правильно 4 слова быстрее своих соперников. Compose 4 words from the letters. You can look at the blackboard. Кто сделает это первым, получает 3 балла, вторым – 2 балла, третьим – 1 балл.
– Ребята, а если детей не угощали, то они подшучивали – делали страшные лица, пугали, прыгали и бегали вокруг дома, громко включали музыку. Вот шуточное стихотворение, которое использовали ребята:
– Давайте постараемся выучить его вместе.
Каждой команде выдается конверт с мозаикой по теме Хэллоуин. Кто быстрее соберет свою картинку. You need to make a puzzle. Команда, которая заканчивает первой, получает – 3 балла, второй – 2 балла и последней – 1 балл. Если команда не справляется с заданием, то – 0 баллов.

Описание: сценарий развлекательного мероприятия для учащихся 2-4 классов, приуроченного к традиционному празднику англоговорящих стран – Хэллоуину. Включает историческую справку, сидячие и подвижные конкурсы, практическую деятельность, направленную на развитие творческого мышления учащихся. Все инструкции и пояснения на русском, так как учащиеся пока не обладают широким лексиконом, что может послужить причиной их зажатости и нежелания участвовать в конкурсах. Временные рамки – от одного до полутора часов. Для вторых классов можно сократить конкурсы.
Цель: через игры и конкурсы приобщать ребят к культуре стран изучаемого языка, развивать общий кругозор.
Задачи:
1. Обучающая: ввести новую лексику по теме мероприятия;
2. Развивающая: развивать в детях творческие способности;
3. Воспитательная: прививать учащимся толерантность.
Подготовительный этап:
Дети: готовят костюмы и оформление для кабинета (вовлечённость в подготовку способствует тому, что дети заинтересованы ещё до начала мероприятия)
Учитель: так же готовит костюм; готовит музыку, сладости для награждения победителей в каждом конкурсе, большие оранжевые шары и маркеры, раздаточный материал(квадрат со словами и кроссворд), материал и инструменты для изготовления привидений (бинт, вата, нитки, фломастеры) и плакаты (ведьма и шляпа, весёлый счёт)

Текст презентации: Halloween is a very old holiday. It is celebrated on the 31st of October, the Eve of all Saints.
The history of Halloween goes back more than 2,000 years. The earliest celebrations of Halloween were among the Celtic people. The Celts were a group of people who lived in present day Ireland and England. They believed that Halloween is a time when magic is most potent and spirits can make contact with the physical world. According to belief all kinds of witches and goblins come out on this night.
Nowadays Halloween is a festival of fun for kids and adults. People dress up as witches, skeletons and ghosts and go to masquerade parties. Such events take place on October 31.
Carving pumpkins into Jack-o’-lanterns is a traditional Halloween custom. Today jack-o’-lanterns in the windows of a house on Halloween night let children know that there are presents or sweets waiting if they knock and say “Trick or Treat!”
There are many others traditional Halloween activities. Some of these include watching horror films, telling ghost stories and playing Halloween games. The most popular game is Bobbing for apples. This game is one of the traditional games used on Halloween night. The rules of the game are easy. The first person who gets an apple out of the water without using hands would be the first to marry.
Also Halloween is sometimes called “Nutcrack Night” or “Snap-Apple Night”. Families sit usually by the fire and tell stories while they ate apples and nuts.

Children: orange/ black
OK! Now I’ll name you the colours and you will name the words of the same colour on the topic “Halloween”
For example: orange: pumpkin/ leaves…
black: bat\ cat\ night, spider
white: ghost, mummy, cobweb
green: goblin, frog…
3. T: Excellent! Lets relax and play the game “Make a noise”.

4. T: OK! It’ time to play the most popular game on Halloween night- “Bobbing for apples.” You should get an apple out of the water without using your hands.

Внеклассное мероприятие “Halloween!” проводится в конце октября как приобщение к культурным традициям страны изучаемого языка с целью повышения интереса, расширения кругозора учащихся и осознания себя не только гражданином России, но и гражданином мира посредством приобщения к культуре другой страны и уважения других людей. Внеклассное мероприятие предполагает проведение подготовительного этапа, на котором учащиеся получают первоначальные представления об истории праздника и его проведении в наши дни (учащиеся читают и переводят тексты, заучивают лексику к ним). Некоторые учащиеся участвуют в подготовке праздника, а именно рисуют постеры, иллюстрирующие символы праздника (фонарики из тыквы, летучие мыши, ведьмы, призраки). Накануне празднования (примерно за 2 недели) объявляется конкурс поделок на тему “Halloween”, стихов и страшных историй, придуманных и написанных на английском языке. Эти постеры, поделки и некоторые истории (потом их можно написать на больших листах формата А3, например, и повесить на стены) используются в качестве оформления кабинета при проведении мероприятия. Историю праздника можно рассказывать самому учителю, а можно рассказать в меньшем объеме, в зависимости от уровня подготовки учащихся.
Цель мероприятия: обобщить знания учащихся об обычаях и традициях проведения "Halloween", существующих в англоязычных странах.
- активизировать культурную и творческую деятельность школьников;
- стимулировать интерес учащихся к изучению английского языка;
- продолжить развитие у школьников умений устного общения, как на иностранном, так и на родном языке;
- воспитывать такие нравственные качества личности как: терпимость, доброжелательность, сострадательность, добропорядочность, милосердие, дружелюбность;
- формировать уважительное отношение к истории и культуре, обычаям и традициям других (в данном случае англоязычных) стран.
Оборудование: компьютер, проектор; шарики, плакаты на тему "Halloween"; конкурсанты награждаются яблоками, шуточными грамотами.
Форма проведения: внеклассное мероприятие.

Практическая реализация происходит в рамках недели английского языка в 6-8 классах.
