Today the wildlife of includes 158 species of mammals, 458 species of birds, 52 species of reptiles, 12 species of amphibians, and 150 species of fish, 19 species of animals and 23 of birds. They are included into the International Red Book of rare or endangered animals. In the mountains of the Zailiiski Alatau alone, there are about 50 species of mammals, 141 species of birds and 3 species of fish. In the steppes herds of koulans and jeirans graze. Deserts are inhabited with giant lizards, snakes and spiders. On the peaks of its mountains snow leopards -mountain turkeys occur. Kazakhstan is inhabited with birds, marmots, wild sheep, the Tien Shan brown bear, flamingoes and swans

Of course governments of different countries pay much attention to problems of environment but much depends on us. Let’s make the Code of Ecological Rules for everybody.
– Never drop litter in the street;– Sort rubbish: use special containers for paper, tins, food, white glass, brown glass and green glass;
– Don’t spray chemicals!
– Use less paper.
– Save energy. Use less electricity and gas.
– Have showers, not baths. Showers use less water.
– Don't leave fire in the forest.
– Change our attitude to the nature;
- We can get involved in clean-ups.
- We must put rubbish into rubbish bins.
-We can plant flowers and trees, feed birds in our gardens and forests.
-We can get involved in clean-ups.
- We must save energy, water and we must recycle materials.
-We can and must encourage other people to keep our nature clean and beautiful

Урок изучения нового материала и первичного закрепления с практической отработкой умений и навыков. Расширить словарный запас учащихся, развивать навыки говорения, чтения и письма. Научить обмениваться информацией по теме, высказывать свое мнение о прочитанном, обобщение грамматических навыков по использованию степеней прилагательных. Развивать навыки работы в паре, в группе. Использовать разные формы формативного, критериального оценивания: самооценивание, взаимооценивание, групповое оценивание. Ожидаемый результат: учащиеся смогут использовать , полученную информацию о флоре и фауне Казахстана, могут оценить себя, других, смогут использовать степени сравнения прилагательных.

Flora. Kazakhstan can be divided into 3 zones: steppes, semi-deserts and deserts, The steppes of the North Kazakhstan are characterized by feather grass. In the North there are birch and pine forests, especially on the sands near the Irtysh river and the Tobol river. The semi-deserts are characterized by different types of wormwood, the deserts – by grass, subshrub and saxaul. The lakes are usually surrounded by reed. At the foothills bushes grow (dogrose, honeysuckle, barberry). In the mountains of Zailisky Alatau we can find wild apple tree, hawthorn. In the centre there are coniferous forests.

Fauna. The wildlife of Kazakhstan is varied too. There are 155 species of mammals. Most of them are rodents, gophers and hamsters in the steppes, sanderlings in the deserts, water rats near the water. Field- vole, jerboa, hare can be found everywhere. There are hoofed animals: saiga, dzheiran in the deserts, maral, musk deer in the lowlands. In the mountains wild boar, roe can be met. In the forests of Altai and Tian Shan – brown bear, snow leopard, sguirrel dwell, wolf, fox.
There are 480 species of birds in Kazakhstan. Many of them are water fowl, grey goose, wild duck. Lake Tengiz is famous for its flamingo.
There are 49 species of reptile and 11 species of amphibian. There are tortoises, lizards and snakes in the plane.
