The procedure of the lesson:

T: Good morning, dear children! Sit down! Who is on duty today? What date is it today? Who is absent today?

How are you today? What’s the weather like today? What famous writers do you know? Do you know any Kazakh writers?

Your home task was to make a project "All about myself” – ex. V p. 45. Tell to the class about yourself!

The theme of our lesson is "Abai Kunanbaev”. We are going to read text, to talk about this famous Kazakh writer.

Ex. I p. 48 Open your vocabularies and write down the new words. Read the sentences to understand the using of the new words. Write your own sentences using the new words.

Example : Our world is very big and interesting.

Watch the presentation abour the famous writer Abai Kunanbaev.

Educational: to educate the respect and interest in Abai’s, Ibray’s, Mukhtar’s compositions, to give the students information about synonyms and antonyms, to teach them to use it actively and correctly in their speech, to enrich students vocabulary, to develop with phonetic drill, pronunciation skills;

Developing: to develop oral speech, to develop visual and listening memory of students, to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening habits and self working skills;

To enrich the students’ vocabulary, to enrich the students’ speech

practice, way of thinking, to practice their identifying accents. To develop of oral communication skills;

Bringing up: to wake up students' interests to English, to love our Motherland. To get interested in the language, to bring up students to love and respect their parents. Promoting respect for English skills actively and productively work in a team.

II. Phonetic drill:

- Now, look at the blackboard and read this poetry. Then you should pay attention on the sound [e]. Do you know how to spell this sound? Repeat after me! All together.

S: - Our home task was Holidays, traditions and customs in Kazakhstan. Cardinal and Ordinal Numerals.

IV. Introduction of the new material:

- Today at the lesson we shall speak about the greatest Kazakh famous people, such as Abai Kunanbaev, Ibray Altynsarin and Mukhtar Auezov, their biographies and creative works. Now, let’s enjoy video about Abai in English. (Listening to the text.)

V. Reading the text

Abai was a great Kazakh poet, musician and writer. He was born in Abai settlement near the city of Semei. He was a well - known Kazakh poet, a great thinker, composer, philosopher, the founder of written Kazakh literature, and its first classic. His father Kunanbai was very strict. But his mother Ulzhan and grandmother Zere were kind, warm-hearted and good-natured people. They were good story-tellers, too. They told little Abai a lot of interesting stories, tales and legends of Kazakh people.

Abai went to a religious school at the age of 9. But when he was 13 he began to learn Russian and entered the Russian school in Semei. He liked to read books of great Russian poets and writers: Pushkin, Lermontov, Krylov. Later Abai translated their works into Kazakh and wrote a lot of masterpieces of literature. His poetry is very popular nowadays.

The Words of Abai have been translated into many foreign languages. Abai Kunanbaev died in 1904. Kazakh people are proud of their great poet. He is well-known all over the world.

Ibray Altynsarin was a famous Kazakh educator and teacher of the 19th century. He was born in 1841 in Torghai region. Altynsarin started a Cyrillic alphabet for the Kazakh language. He opened many Kazakh-Russian schools and schools for girls. He translated books and textbooks. He wrote the first Kazakh Grammar book. Altynsarin travelled a lot and visited many countries. He liked children and wrote poems for them. A lot of streets, institutes and schools are named after Altynsarin. There is an Altynsarin museum in Kostanay.

Mukhtar Auezov was born in 1897 in Abai district in Semey region. His grandfather Auez and his father Omarkhan were well-educated persons. Mukhtar Auezov was : - a writer - a scientist-educator - one of the founders of Kazakh Soviet Literature - a famous public figure. In 1928 he graduated from the faculty of History and philology of Leningrad University. In 1930 he finished the post-graduated courses of the Turkic department of the faculty of his Orient in the Middle Asian State University in Tashkent. He was the first Kazakh professor lecturing on Kazakh Literature. His novels are : “Kokserek”, “Abai zholy”, “Karash karash”, “Enlik-Kebek” and etc. The most famous of his works is the novel “Abai zholy”. His first work “Enlik-Kebek” was written in 1917.

T: Nowadays an educated person must know 3 languages such as Russian, Kazakh and English and songs can help us to learn them. Let us sing and enjoy our favourite songs such as a song by the Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev “The black of your Eyes”.

Initially, the poet was given the name of Ibrahim, but soon he was given the nickname ‘‘Abai’’ meaning “carefull”.

Abai Kunanbaev was educated at home and then sent to a medressa where he learned Arabic and Persian and became acquainted with Eastern literature and poetry. At the age of seven he went to school.

In Semey he actively participated in the city's intellectual life, studied Russian and Western classics by Pushkin, Goethe, and Byron and at age of 45 he translated many of them for the first time into Kazakh.

Развитие умения строить высказывание по теме на основе нескольких источников

Развитие способностей к анализу и синтезу, к сравнению и сопоставлению речевых единиц, к формированию выводов из прочитанного

Воспитательные задачи урока:

Воспитывать патриотизм, гордость и интерес к событиям отечественной истории

Формировать умение взаимодействовать во время работы в группе и в парах, высказывать и обосновывать свою точку зрения, уважать мнение одноклассников

Технологии: использование ИКТ, здоровьесберегающая(чередование видов деятельности)

Оснащение: тетрадь, раздаточный материал с текстами для чтения, мультимедийный проектор

Урок проводился в группе 1ДВО. В группе 14 девочек. У учащихся данной группы высокая мотивация к изучению иностранного языка со средними речевыми и языковыми способностями.

Реализация принципов обучения: на уроке были реализованы следующие принципы:

принцип направленности обучения на комплексное решение задач;

принцип доступности обучения.

Каждый вид наглядности использовался для более доступного восприятия речи учителя и развития навыка монологического высказывания.

Принцип систематически и последовательности формирования знаний, умений и навыков соблюдался правильно, был правильный переход от простых заданий к сложным.

Познавательность, активность и самостоятельность учащихся достигалась с помощью наводящих вопросов.

Развитие учащихся на уроке осуществлялось, в полной мере были задействованы все учащиеся, в том числе и слабоуспевающие.

Преобладающий характер познавательной деятельности – творческий.

Структура урока полностью соответствует логике проведения заявленного типа урока, так как моей основной организационной задачей являлось создание условий для изучения нового материала по теме. На мой взгляд, такие условия были созданы на проведенном уроке.

Отобранное содержание урока, оборудование урока, организация активной мыслительной деятельности учащихся на всех этапах урока, индивидуальные, групповые и фронтальные формы организаций учебной деятельности, применение словесных, визуальных методов способствовали достижению образовательных целей урока, стимулировали познавательные интересы учащихся.

Уровень самостоятельного мышления, познавательную активность, уровень усвоения и использования материала я оцениваю как хороший. На мой взгляд, этот урок послужил толчком. Опорой для дальнейшей познавательной деятельности учеников.

Особый аспект на уроке имел здоровьесберегающий эффект: я постаралась создать ситуацию психологического комфорта для детей.

Учащиеся на уроке были активны, внимательны, работоспособны. Я считаю, что выбранная форма организации учебной деятельности была достаточно эффективной. На данном уроке поставленные задачи оказались в основном решены.

Перегрузки учащихся как физической, так и психологической не было благодаря смене видов деятельности и форм работы. Все этапы урока были пройдены. Временные рамки урока соблюдены. Считаю, что каждая из целей урока была достигнута, о чем ребятам было сообщено в качестве положительных оценок в конце урока.
