4. Анализ прочитанного текста (формат ЕГЭ). Развитие навыков говорения.

Учащиеся выполняют устно это упражнение. В части А – заканчивают предложения. В части Б – учащиеся делятся на две группы. Первая группа готовит вопросы, вторая – отвечает на них, используя речевые клише, данные на слайде презентации.

Через несколько минут подготовки учащиеся проводят групповую работу под руководством учителя.

The modern pizza was originally invented in Naples, Italy but the word pizza is Greek in origin, derived from the Greek word pēktos meaning solid or clotted. The ancient Greeks covered their bread with oils, herbs and cheese. The first major innovation that led to flat bread pizza was the use of tomato as a topping. It was common for the poor of the area around Naples to add tomato to their yeast-based flat bread, and so the pizza began.

While it is difficult to say for sure who invented the pizza, it is however believed that modern pizza was first made by baker Raffaele Esposito of Naples. In fact, a popular urban legend holds that the archetypal pizza, Pizza Margherita, was invented in 1889, when the Royal Palace of Capodimonte commissioned the Neapolitan pizzaiolo Raffaele Esposito to create a pizza in honor of the visiting Queen Margherita. Of the three different pizzas he created, the Queen strongly preferred a pie swathed in the colors of the Italian flag: red (tomato), green (basil), and white (mozzarella). Supposedly, this kind of pizza was then named after the Queen as Pizza Margherita.

Later, the dish has become popular in many parts of the world:

The first pizzeria, Antica Pizzeria Port'Alba, was opened in 1830 in Naples.

In North America, The first pizzeria was opened in 1905 by Gennaro Lombardi at 53 1/3 Spring Street in New York City.

The first Pizza Hut, the chain of pizza restaurants appeared in the United States during the 1930s.

Nowadays, many varieties of pizza exist worldwide, along with several dish variants based upon pizza.

Fast food in our daily life.

Fast food refers to food that can be prepared and served quickly. It can come from many places: sit-down restaurants, take-out, drive-thru, and delivery. Fast food is popular because the food is inexpensive, convenient, and tastes good. The life of modern people proceeds at a fast pace, and often there is not enough free time to eat. For such people, this is the only solution in such situations.

However, fast food is often made with cheaper ingredients such as high fat meat, refined grains, and added sugar and fats, instead of nutritious ingredients such as lean meats, whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Fast food is also high in sodium (aka salt) which is used as a preservative and makes food more flavorful and satisfying.

Usually the menu consists of simple dishes: fried potatoes, salads, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, milkshakes, various sauces. This food is dangerous to health. It does not contain vitamins and nutrients. It includes dye and flavors. It has a lot of fat and calories. The person is disturbed by the metabolism, which leads to obesity.

There is no such thing as a “bad” food, but there are some foods you should try not to have on a regular basis. Many fast food chains have updated their menus to include healthier options. For example, some chains no longer serve foods with trans fat, and many have menu items that contain fruits and vegetables. Some menus even have special items labeled as “light” or “less than 500 calories” to help consumers easily identify lighter menu items. If you can not completely refuse fast food, you should be more particular about products when choosing the menu. It is advisable to stop preference on dietary dishes, vegetable salads with olive oil. Do not use spices, mayonnaise and fatty sauces. It is very important to chew food thoroughly and never to drink carbonated water. All these rules will help to fans of fast food to reduce the risk of disease.
