Novosibirsk is the most important transport joint in the region, with high industrial, cultural and science-educational potential. In the year 2007 Novosibirsk celebrated its 114-th birthday.
Totally, there are 30 regions and 14 cities, 19 villages of the city type in Novosibirsk region. The region specializes in grain, potatoes and vegetables growing, and also in stock raising, poultry-breeding, bee-keeping. An important role plays flax production.
The leading branches of industry are mechanical engineering, metallurgy (lathe- and appliance engineering, aircraft building, electro techniques, chemical, light and food industry).

A healthy style of life is an individual scheme of man’s behavior which is aimed at preservation and improvement of man’s health.
The need in healthy style of life is formed under the family influence, and the influence of educational institutions, public organizations and many other factors.
There exist active forms of healthy style of life such as physical culture, trainings and healthy diet. Physical activity and sport are effective means of preserving and improving of health, harmonious upbringing of a person, and diseases prevention.
Unfortunately there is such a big problem among most teenagers, youngsters and girls (and also among adults) nowadays as insufficient physical activity (hyperkinesias)
Physical exercises have a good influence on the development of all functions of the central nervous system: strength, mobility and solidness of the nervy processes.
People who regularly do trainings have the following advantages over the immobile ones:
they look better, have better psychical health, less exposed to stress and strain, they sleep better, and have less problems with health.
Regular physical trainings in our school let us reach great results in light athletics.
In September 29 there took place an athletic cross “Golden autumn” in the village Ulkino among the comprehensive schools of the Sovhosniy Selsovet. Three schools took place in the competitions: Ulkinskaya, Beloborodovskaya and Troitskaya. Our school was represented by the following pupils: Tokarev А ., Semenov А , Hkrapov S., Maslov I., Zhukova Ju., Shabaldina О ., Zhukova О ., both boys and girls overcame the distance of 1000 meters. As a result our team took the first place. The head of the administration V. М .Koshelev gave to the pupils honorary credentials and passing cup. Well done.
And on October 10 the traditional regional light athletic crass took place on the stadium of the working village Kochenevo. Our team consisting of 6 pupils was competing in running (girls –500 m, boys – 1000 m) with seven other
And this time the luck was on our side.
We proved once again that we are the best and took the first place!
This time our sportsmen were given the honorary credentials, golden medals and passing cup.
The children are satisfied with their success.

A book should take the leading place among the measures of upbringing and education, as it is a priceless source of knowledge, an intellectual tutor and a companion.
Open reading lessons which are given throughout the country are aimed to develop children’s steady interest to the reading, to encourage pupils to apply to the book in their free time on their own will, as to the source of an interesting and exciting way of spending their leisure time, and to develop the habit of the correct reading.
Everybody will find something interesting here, everybody will find what to smile about.
There are children in our school, who compose fairy tales by themselves. They were given a permission to speak.

GRANDMOTHER AUTUMN
Once upon a time, there lived an old woman in a golden forest, in a carved little house. Her name was Autumn.
She was kind and careful. She kept an eye on the animals, so that the squirrels had mushrooms and nuts in their hollows, mice and chipmunks had grain in store, so that in-toed bears fell asleep in their lairs in time, so that
t he migrant birds flew the snowflakes started to fly down, the rivers began to cover themselves with snow. A panic has started I the forest! After all, neither birds, nor animals, nor trees didn’t have time to prepare themselves for the coming Frost. It meant, everybody was going to die.
Who will wake up the Autumn? Who will save birds and animals, trees and flowers?
All the living creatures headed to the grandmother’s Autumn little house in the hope to restore the order of time course. And so they created the great noise! The birds twitter, the animals roar, bellow, the trees make noise, waving with their powerful crowns. And so what…
Something clicked in the old clock because of this horrible noise, and it started to ring the saving melody. Grandmother Autumn woke up and, being half asleep, could not understand what had happened.The forest inhabitants eagerly told her what had happened. Now it was all
over. All the living creatures calmed down, and started to make preparations for the coming winter. This time Father Frost will not catch them by surprise! to the warm lands before the winter comes. And in summer she slept in her small house, waiting for her turn to come. On the wall of her little house there hung a wonderful clock. They rang only twice a year. The first ring meant that the Autumn should wake up and start to fulfill her rights, and the second one meant that it is time for the grandmother Autumn to give place to the winter.
One day a tumult has happened. The summer was damp and cool. This made the clock-work become rusty, and the wonderful clock has stopped. Everything and everyone in the nature were waiting for the golden Autumn to come.
… But grandmother Autumn was not going to wake up, because she could only wake up when the wonderful clock rang. And Father Frost was just waiting for his time to come.
And so the cold winds blew,

ALENKA AND KNOPKA
Once upon a time, there lived a girl Alenka with her mother, in a small village. Alenka had a little dog called
Knopka. They were the best friends. The girl gave to her little friend a tasty bone each day, and poured in her bowl some milk when her mother milked Burenka. Alenka and Knopka were inseparable: if the girl went to the vegetable garden, the dog ran after her, if the girl went to the river – canine friend followed her. Such a solid friendship they had.
One day Alenka decided to go to the forest to pick mushrooms, and Knopka followed her. Her mother warned her only not to pass by the old dried oak. Behind him there was a dark thick forest. And this forest has had ill fame for a long time already.
There go the friends through the forest: Knopka brings the basket in her teeth, and Alenka puts mushrooms in it. They were so captivated by it that didn’t even notice that they had passed by the old dried oak. They collected the full basket of mushrooms and decided to have rest. They placed the basket near the birch and sat down. And suddenly they fell asleep… They have been sleeping for a long time. And when they woke up there was no basket nearby.
- Who could take my basket? – wondered Alenka.
- Let’s search for it! – sounded an unknown voice.
The girl did not understand at first, who said those words, and was frightened a little. She started to look round, but there was nobody around.
- It’s me, Knopka! – uttered the dog, - I can talk!
The girl was so surprised that even opened her mouth. Only now she noticed that she had gone too far, and forgot the mother’s warnings. There were powerful trees around, which didn’t let the sunshine through. This made the forest seem very scary.
- You can talk? – applied Alenka to the dog. – Why did you keep silence before?
- You and I have got to the fairy forest, where the miracles happen, – explained to her Knopka.
- Well, miracles are great, but we have to find our basket and go home. I guess my mother worries already.
And they didn’t even make a few steps when a grey-headed old man with a long white beard appeared in front of them suddenly. And his hat looked like a toadstool cap. He was of a very small height. And there was a big wart on his flat nose.
- Who are you? – asked Knopka in a frightened voice.
- I am grandfather Bom-Bom. I have been living in this forest for a long time already, I am very-very old.
- Grandfather, - applied Alenka to the old man, - have you seen our basket with mushrooms by any chance?
- It was me who took your mushrooms. I need them very much. I am old and sick. I have already tried all the fragrant plants in our fairy forest – nothing helps. And I have found in your basket the mushrooms which can heal me, give me back strength and vivacity. Such mushrooms grow on the other side of the old oak, on the meadow warmed by the sun. But I cannot get there.
- Yes, we have been on that meadow, there shines the sun and the birds sing, - replied Alenka. - If it is so, we are glad that we can help you.
Then grandfather Bom-Bom quickly laid all the mushrooms in front of him, chose several of them (the very mushrooms which Alenka thought were not eatable) and ate them one after another. Then happened the following: the old man turned over his left shoulder three times, shook his beard and stamped his feet. And now Alenka and Knopka saw a different grandfather. He looked much younger: his back straightened, he even seemed to become higher, the beard became shorter, the awful wart disappeared from his nose, there was no more sorrow in his eyes.
Alenka and Knopka jumped cheerfully, glad with what they had seen.
- Thank you, dear friends! In reward for your help I will eagerly show you the best berry places with the tastiest berry - miracleberry.
- And what kind of berry it is – miracleberry? – wondered Knopka.
- It’s our special fairy tale berry, - answered Bom-Bom.
Bom-Bom lifted from the ground a yellow leaf, whispered something and threw it up to the air. In a second Alenka, Knopka and grandfather turned out to be on a berry place, where miracleberry grew. It indeed was a miracle berry: the balls of a bright yellow colour. And its taste was wonderful!
In several minutes the basket was full of it.
Alenka thanked the old man for the wonderful berry. But her eyes were sad.
-Why are you sad, girl? – wondered Bom-Bom.
- How shall we get back home now? - Alenka asked.
The old man took the miracle berry, threw it on the ground and said:
- Run after the miracleberry, it will lead you to the old oak. And there you will find a road to home by yourselves.
Alenka grasped the basket and ran cheerfully after the miracle berry, waving goodbye to Bom-Bom. Knopka wagged with her tail and ran after her owner.
The miracleberry reached the old dried oak and disappeared. Alenka and Knopka found the familiar path and went to the village.
- Mom will be so surprised to see what we have brought in the basket! – uttered the girl.
But Knopka didn’t reply to her, but looked at her with her kind, clever eyes and wagged with her tail.
Every citizen should remember the number of the firefighters – zero one!
It has already become a tradition in our district to give lessons of safety in the first month of school year.
Last year we talked about the safe road traffic during such a lesson in our school.
There were placed on the table several fire-extinguishers (powder and carbon dioxide), the usual one and
isolating fire-extinguisher, cotton-gauze bandages.
Children began the lesson of safety with poems:
Who of you plays with fire
Mornings, evenings and the day time?
Who doesn’t make fires
And doesn’t let the others do it?
Who from their little sister
Hides at home matches, kids?
And now confess to me,
Who of you plays with fire?
Who set on fire the grass by the house,
And set on fire the garbage,
But the neighbour’s garage burnt
And also the construction fence?
Who explains to neighbour kids
In the back yard of a house,
That a play with matches may for sure
End up with a fire
Who was hiding in the corner,
Burning candles in the attic?
The old table caught fire,
You barely escaped yourself.
After that there were poems of honourable firemen.

And then children demonstrated how they would leave the school building in case of fire smoke: with their eyes closed, holding each other’s hands and half bent.
The teacher of Basics of Safe Life Levantsova L.A. explained how to use the fire-extinguishers correctly, showed the succession of actions with powder fire-extinguisher (without its practical usage).
The lesson was continued by the active discussion of the succession of actions of the pupils and teachers in case of a fire at school.
The final stage of the lesson was the teaching evacuation of the children from the school building. There sounded a loud alarming danger signal. And though the elder children took it easy, small kids
perceived it very seriously. After leaving the school the children and their class couriers gathered together on the sports ground, and made a roll-call. And only after the alarm was over they returned to the school.
There was made a conclusion that fire can be a friend, but if we loose control over it, fire becomes our worst enemy.
One should always remember it!

We took our bicycles, but my little brother was not very good at riding a bike. So he was slow and after some time I realized that we lost him. I was confused and scared. We called him but there wasn’t any reply. I climbed a high tree, and luckily I saw my brother. He was near the lake. So he got there faster than us.

МБОУ Гимназия № 21 – старейшая образовательная организация города Архангельска с филологическим профилем. В гимназии работает программа международного обмена со школой города Вестбрука (штат Мэн, США). Ежегодно группы учащихся старших классов учатся 2 недели в американской школе в ноябре, а мы принимаем делегацию из - за океана в апреле. Чтобы быть в курсе событий друг друга и в остальное время, мы предложили совместный выпуск газеты на английском языке, который дает нам возможность совершенствовать иностранный язык и двум школам, расположенным на разных континентах, быть в курсе событий друг друга.
Новизна нашего проекта – совместное со школой-побратимом издание газеты на английском языке.
Целью нашего проекта является создание условий для выявления, поддержки и развития одаренных детей, их самореализации, профессионального самоопределения.
Образовательная цель - расширение образовательного пространства школы для социально значимой реализации индивидуальной образовательной стратегии одаренных детей через развитие интереса к чтению, литературному творчеству, иностранным языкам, компьютерным технологиям и др. Широкий доступ к информации и общение на иностранном языке с его носителями способны повысить мотивацию школьников к изучению этого предмета, стимулировать творческий подход к формированию коммуникативных умений, позволит индивидуализировать способ получения необходимых знаний.
Воспитательная цель - воспитание личности, обладающей коммуникативными навыками и высокими адаптивными возможностями в современном поликультурном мире.
Развивающая цель - развитие способностей одаренных детей к включению в практическую коллективную деятельность по изданию газеты, умение работать в команде, ставить цели и добиваться их, осуществлять рефлексию.
Актуальность проекта:
Работа по созданию газеты помогает выявить активных, увлеченных и талантливых детей, объединить учащихся разного возраста, разных образовательных учреждений из разных стран.
Выпуск собственной газеты способствует развитию позитивных традиций школьной жизни, чувства патриотизма, гордости за гимназию, свой город и страну.
Работа над проектом способствует повышению мотивации к учебе, в частности к изучению иностранного языка, истории, географии, литературы, информатики, помогает расширению эрудиции и кругозора.
Содействует укреплению связей со школой-побратимом, дальнейшему развитию международного сотрудничества.

Создание благоприятной атмосферы для достижения максимальной самореализации творческих учащихся.
Организация взаимодействия с пресс - центром и учащимися школы города Вестбрука.
Участие в творческих конкурсах различного уровня.
Вовлечение большего количества учащихся к работе по проекту.

Когда подготовительный этап позади, начинается творческая работа над выпусками газеты. Выпуск англоязычной газеты – это довольно длительный процесс, который можно условно разбить на следующие шаги:
Шаг 1 – идея, тема выпуска
Предлагают сами гимназисты
Обязательно интересная и актуальная
Проблема вызывает споры и не имеет однозначного решения
Представляет своего рода задачу, связанную с необходимостью раскрыть определенную тему
Тема позволяет объединить статьи учащихся общей идеей, а их работу сделать направленной
Шаг 2 – план номера
Придумать темы и рубрики номера
Определить объем газеты
Определить тему передовой статьи, информационные поводы для остальных материалов
Верстка остальных элементов газеты: материалы распределяются по рубрикам (репортажи, интервью, поэзия, читательская почта, школьная жизнь и т.п.), каждая из которых имеет постоянное место в газете, чтобы читатель мог легко найти интересующий его материал. Для каждой страницы определяется иерархия: более значимые материалы размещаются наверху, а фотографии, разного рода обрамления и украшения, шрифтовые сочетания должны придать всем частям газеты гармоничную форму, приятную для глаз.

Один из самых увлекательных этапов, требует фантазии и серьезных компьютерных навыков
Заголовок первой полосы имеет фундаментальное значение: он должен привлечь внимание читателя и возбудить у него желание прочесть статью. Иллюстрации (фотографии, рисунки) и цвет - дополнительные элементы, усиливающие притягательность заголовка. Первая полоса газеты - это ее витрина
Верстка остальных частей газеты: материалы распределяются по рубрикам, каждая из которых имеет постоянное место в газете, чтобы читатель мог легко найти интересующий его материал
Фотографии должны быть качественными, иметь подписи, люди на них – естественными.
Шаг 7 – печать газеты, размещение на информационном стенде, сайте гимназии
Шаг 8 – обсуждение номера в группах, подведение итогов
Принципы работы в команде по реализации проекта:
Работа должна приносить радость, удовлетворение
Работа в атмосфере сотрудничества, а не противоборства
Основная ответственность – на учениках, мудрое руководство – на учителях
Уважение к мнению авторов, а не навязывание своего или мнения большинства

5 ноября 2015 года был подписан договор о совместном участии в медиа - проекте, в том числе выпуске газеты “School Times” между МБОУ Гимназия № 21 и Westbrook High School во время дружественного визита нашей делегации в города Большого Портленда(штат Мэн ,США).
Опыт работы над данным проектом был представлен на секции учителей иностранных языков августовской конференции руководящих и педагогических работников в 2015 году и на курсах повышения квалификации на базе АО ИОО для учителей иностранных языков 25 ноября 2015 года.
Создание школьной газеты – один из способов формирования надпредметных умений школьников, повышения познавательной и творческой активности и одновременно результат проектной деятельности школьников.
Отчетом о проделанной работе становится выпуск очередного номера газеты. За период работы над проектом мы научились сбору и обработке информации, познакомились с законами журналистики, научились работать со справочной литературой, постепенно овладеваем навыками профессии журналиста, развиваем культуру иноязычной речи и повышаем ее грамотность. С другой стороны, мы наладили более тесный постоянный контакт со школой – побратимом, что дает нам возможность постоянно быть в курсе дел друг друга, то есть развивается коммуникативная компетентность учащихся.
Издательская деятельность может быть рассмотрена как продолжение образования в области компьютерных технологий с учетом профильного обучения (в данном случае филологического). Беря на себя ответственность за выпуск школьного издания, за создание качественного продукта, учащиеся осознают необходимость следования определенным стандартам, повышающим качество публикации. Дети понимают, что неряшливое оформление текста, также как и грамматические ошибки, мешают понять содержание. Правильное оформление материалов работают на повышение культуры издания. Следует отметить и тот факт, что коммерческую деятельность ведут сами участники проекта, что способствует повышению чувства ответственности у детей.
Мы можем констатировать расширение эрудиции и кругозора участников. Работа в газете требует постоянного напряжения интеллектуальных и нравственных сил школьников для решения постоянно возникающих проблем, что повышает способность решать их совместными усилиями, выполняя разные социальные роли.
Что касается чисто технической стороны дела, дети проходят путь от владения основными приемами ввода и редактирования текста до хороших навыков по форматированию текста, подготовке графики и верстке с использованием специальных программ и редакторов.
Как в любой творческой работе, в процессе выпуска каждого номера возникают трудности. Чтобы преодолеть тенденцию выпуска газеты для избранного круга читателей (по принципу – сами пишем, сами читаем), нужно расширять круг корреспондентов. Проводятся читательские и видео конференции, на которых обсуждается содержание напечатанных материалов, а также другие мероприятия с целью привлечения большего количества учащихся к сотрудничеству, обеспечения преемственности в работе редакции, чтобы сделать издание действительно интересным для всех.
Развитие проекта
Тираж газеты ограничен, поэтому возникла необходимость сделать школьную газету более доступной для учащихся. С этой целью на официальном сайте гимназии создана страничка в главном меню под названием School Times с целью расширения круга общения, размещения на сайте оперативной информации, ознакомления всех желающих с архивом электронной школьной газеты.
Развитие также связано с сотрудничеством с Westbrook High School в реализации подписанного договора о совместном медиа – проекте.
