They are quite active and grow too fast, eating leaves from trees. Caterpillars, like butterflies themselves, can be of different colors. When the caterpillar's life phase comes to an end, it turns into a motionless pupa. The pupa can be in this state from several days to several years. Nevertheless, when a butterfly appears from a chrysalis, something beautiful appears in nature.
