I want to tell you about my school.
My school is old but very comfortable. All the students are fond of it. It is a real home for everyone, both pupils and teachers.
Our school has two floors. The rooms are huge and well-lighted. We have got classrooms for almost all subjects — for English classes, History, Physics, Math, Chemistry, Geography, Literature, and so on. There are two computer classes in our school, where pupils get computer skills. Computing is an essential skill nowadays.
One of my favorite places in school is a hall. It is situated in the separate building. Concerts, meetings and all the feasts take place there.
Our school has one gym and two sports-ground, football field and basketball field. Many pupils are into sports and they have all sport equipment they need to train themselves. There is a medium-sized swimming pool in our school.
I am grateful to my teachers for the knowledge they gave me. The teachers in my school are very kindhearted and qualified. They are always ready to help us and they manage to explain to us even the hardest things.
We have got a tradition in our school. Every year the school leavers come here to meet their teachers and classmates. Such meetings are very heartbreaking.

A school is a place where we gain our basic knowledge.
I study in school №1284, it’s in Moscow. It’s not very far from my house. I go there on my foot. It’s a big three-storied building. It has all facilities: well-furnished airy and light classrooms, laboratories, library, music class, computer room and sportsground. The school has its own canteen where we usually have lunch. Our library has books almost on all subjects. There is also a grand swimming pool where every facility is provided to the students to learn swimming.
Every classes have about 30 students. I have many good friends at school. During the breaks my friends and me are used to talking and playing funny games.

I am going to tell you about my school. It was built twelve years ago and has three floors. The classrooms are spacious and bright.

On weekends we often go to museums, theatres, exhibitions, and at the beginning of vacations we go to the mountains.
I miss school during the holidays. I love my school very much.

My school is a very big one and it is situated in the center of a big town. There are over a thousand students ranging from the ages of 6 to 17, and it is a mixed school.
Our lessons start at 9 o’clock but we usually meet with classmates beforehand in order to chat. Our lessons last for 45 minutes and we study a variety of subjects. At my school we start learning English at the age of 6 and then at 10 we can choose any other language or deeper science studying.
We have mid-morning break from 11 o’clock to 20 past eleven, then we have lunch break at half past 12. At lunch time we usually sit in a big group in the school hall or if the weather is nice outside in the playground and eat our lunch together. Our school even has a tuck-shop where we can buy sweets and drinks if we want to. Sometimes during our lunch break we play sports. In summer we play tennis and rounder. After lunch we have another two lessons.
Our classes usually have about thirty children in them until we get to the sixth form when we start learning the advanced level of the subjects. Then the classes are usually much smaller — about fifteen students. My school is quite traditional. А lot of the students who study there enter the University afterwards.
Extracurricular activities include the opportunity to play a musical instrument. We also have sporting matches against other school’s teams. Our school raises funds for the people in need, so the students learn to help people. My school does not only provide a good education but the teachers strive to create a community spirit and encourage us to socialize all together, to help people less fortunate than we are.

There is no doubt that school plays an important role in our life. It’s the first place where we learn to feel at home. Sometime I think we spend there even more time than at home. Every weekday from early morning till evening we are there. The lessons usually last till 2 or 3 pm, but every child has something additional to do at school.
As for me, starting from the last year I stay for sewing lessons. There is a special classroom in our school where we can learn sewing techniques. In fact, it’s a well-equipped classroom. Our teacher allows us to stay there and practice as long as we want to. After all, I get back home around 6 pm, which is almost time for dinner. Thanks to these additional classes I understood what I want to become in the future. It’s highly likely that I will continue education in the field of fashion and design. The way I found most suitable occupation for me, others find what they want to do in the future.
The key role in career choice and development belongs to schools. That’s why I believe that school years are important and valuable. Other than that, school is the place where first love is met. We set some relations then break up and try again. Some teens meet their first and only love for life at schools. For example, my parents know each other from high school. They were classmates and best friends. Many couples are formed at school. I’d be happy to find my second half there as well, but that’s yet to come, I suppose.
