Success plays a vital role on our life. There are different points of view, which factor can bring the most positive effect on success, whether it is luck or hard work. I think that both factors can bring positive effects, and in this essay I will examine it and give my own opinion.
On the one hand, it is hard to gain high results without hard work because every purpose requires a lot of actions. All this is hard to imagine without hard work, self – discipline and motivation. Sometimes difficult tasks should be separated into small parts and it is necessarily to have inner power to complete it. These are common examples of how success can be gained with help of hard work.
On the other hand, luck plays a huge part on the way to success. Luck may help you to be in the right place at the right time, to get some new information or to meet right persons. For example a lot of athletes met their coaches that helps them to train and to achieve great results. It is hard to live without sense that luck can help us to achieve our goals.
From my perspective, hard work is important, but we also need to take into account the luck factor. And I believe that luck and hard work together may gain the most positive effect on the life.

It’s a fact that every person on the planet desires to be successful. However, what does it mean? To begin with, to be successful means you can go back into time and be completely satisfied with all the things you’ve achieved and done, without any regret. One of the main peculiarity of success is to have a goal, which you should reach no matter what you'll have to face. For example, some people would like to create a stable family environment and a harmony in their homes. Others tend to get a profitable job and wallow in money. Furthermore, it's believed that if you want to gain success you only need talent. However, some people reckon that hard work can compensate the lack of it.
In my humble opinion, talent as well as hard work is very important, because of some reasons, presented further. First of all, if you’re not gifted or endowed with necessary skills you won't be able to become a profound specialist in the certain area or field of the modern world. But at the same time, you have to be a hard-working and industrious individual to have an opportunity to improve yourself. Secondly, it seems to me, that these two things are inseparably linked with each other. You know, they are like sufficient parts of the whole system.
Nonetheless, a talent alone won't be enough to become a successful human. According to some people's point of view, if a person is talented, they don't have to do all their best to achieve something, 'cause that's not urgent. I disagree with this idea. Without hard work, for each moment of triumph in your life, your skills won’t improve at all. It's better not to take your talent for granted because there's nothing without something.

Это факт, что каждый человек на планете желает быть успешным. Однако, что это значит? Во–первых, быть успешным означает, что вы можете взглянуть на прошлое и при этом полностью быть удовлетворенным всем, чего вы добились и сделали, без каких–либо сожалений. Одна из главных особенностей успеха — достижение цели, которую вы должны достичь независимо от того, с чем вам придется столкнуться. Например, некоторые люди хотели бы создать благополучную семью и гармонию в своем доме. Другие, стремятся получить высокооплачиваемую работу и купаться в деньгах. Кроме того, считается, что если вы хотите добиться успеха, вам нужен только талант. Однако некоторые люди полагают, что усердная работа может компенсировать его отсутствие.
По моему скромному мнению, талант как и усердная работа очень важны исходя из некоторых причин, представленных далее. Прежде всего, если у вас нет выдающихся талантов или вы не обладаете необходимыми навыками, то вы не сможете стать видным специалистом в определенной области или сфере современного мира. Но в то же время вы должны быть трудолюбивым и прилежным человеком, чтобы иметь возможность самосовершенствоваться. Во–вторых, мне кажется, что эти две вещи неразрывно связаны. Знаете, они как важные составляющие целостной системы.
Тем не менее, чтобы стать успешным человеком, одного только таланта недостаточно. По мнению некоторых людей, если человек талантлив, ему не нужно стараться, чтобы чего–то добиться, потому что это неважно. Я не согласен с этой идеей. Без усердной работы за каждый момент триумфа в вашей жизни ваши навыки не улучшатся совсем. Лучше не принимать свой талант как само собой разумеющееся, потому что просто так ничего не бывает.

People always judge the life of other people. They think about their income, private life, work, hobby and other things. They judge the age, the appearance and the way of life. We think that only celebrities suffer from the attention to their life. However it is not the case.
Люди всегда судят о жизни других людей. Они думают об их доходах, личной жизни, работе, хобби и прочем. Они судят о возрасте, внешности и образе жизни. Мы думаем, что только знаменитости страдают от внимания к своей жизни. Однако это не так.
According to the public opinion, some people are successful and other people are not. But what are the criteria of success? I think if you ask people about it, most of them will name money and glory. Maybe, it is obvious because we are used to numbering celebrities and businessmen to successful people.
По мнению общественности, некоторые люди успешны, а другие нет. Но каковы критерии успеха? Я думаю, если вы спросите людей об этом, большинство из них назовут деньги и славу. Может быть, это очевидно, потому что мы привыкли относить знаменитостей и бизнесменов к успешным людям.
I think that such criteria as money and fame are quite general. Some people can get much money in a sinister manner and be famous for bad things and almost no one respect them. I think it is hardly possible to name such people successful. Successful people are those who achieve high results in the particular field and sometimes success can be temporary. For example, someone can be a successful student. He or she gets excellent marks, takes part in many conferences, wins different contests and so on. Can such student be a successful person? Of course, he or she can be such person. However this person can be a successful one only when he or she studies and then be an ordinary worker.
Я думаю, что такие критерии, как деньги и слава, довольно общие. Некоторые люди могут получить много денег нечестным путем и иметь дурную славу, и почти никто их не уважает. Думаю, вряд ли можно назвать таких людей успешными. Успешные люди – это те, кто добивается высоких результатов в конкретной области, а иногда успех может быть временным. Например, кто-то может быть успешным студентом. Он получает отличные оценки, участвует во многих конференциях, выигрывает различные конкурсы и так далее. Может ли такой студент быть успешным человеком? Конечно, он может быть таким человеком. Однако этот человек может быть успешным только тогда, когда он учится, а затем стать обычным работником.
To sum it up, in my opinion, the criteria of success are not only money and glory but also high results in the particular field and social recognition.
Подводя итог, на мой взгляд, критерии успеха – это не только деньги и слава, но и высокие результаты в конкретной области и общественное признание.

To be a successful person, it is not necessary to have rich parents, famous friends and to be a genius in some area. Any person can do everything himself without any help. Attractive appearance is a matter of concern not only for women, but also for men, perhaps even to a large extent. In today's world of tough competition, a man must understand that a good form and appearance, necessary components of success.
Therefore, every person from childhood and throughout life needs to develop a positive attitude towards himself and the world around him. Continually learn and improve, turn all useful information into a real experience.
The first step to achieving success is to look at oneself from the outside. Try to answer the questions: "How do I look? How do I feel? Do I like people?" Do not dissemble before yourself, answer as truthfully as possible, and better write down the answers on paper. This will help you to more fully assess the current situation and correctly draw up a program of actions.
Give yourself a strict assessment of how much you like yourself and others. Do you have a clean skin, beautiful hair or a slender figure?
Do not forget your physical health. How much energy do you have, how quickly do you get tired, do you sleep well, how do you feel when you get up in the morning?
Think about your attitude to life in general. Do you like your job? Are you happy to meet the day? Are you satisfied with your life?
Analyze your answers and make an action plan whose main goal is to become a successful person. Set real intermediate tasks and mark them. Each step passed on the way to the main goal will give you great satisfaction, and you will soon notice how your appearance and spiritual world will change for the better, the attitude of people towards you. And you will feel much more confident in your life.
