I have a laptop, a tablet and a phone from gadgets. I use the phone most of all, since I can communicate with my friends, it’s small and you can carry it with me. I think that my life without gadgets would be boring, I would study worse as it is possible to find a lot of useful information on the Internet.

People in contemporary world can hardly imagine their lives without machines. Every day either a new gadget is invented or an old one is improved. Different people appreciate new inventions differently. Some suppose that sophisticated gadgets are really useful and necessary, while others find them absolutely awful as they influence people badly. As for me, I am pretty sure that gadgets make people`s lives easier.
Firstly, they do all kinds of dirty and hard work, as cleaning. Secondly, devices can save a lot of time as well as storage space. For instance, a computer disk can contain the same amount of information as several thick books.So, machines help people in different spheres.
However, opponents of this point of view are definitely sure that gadgets affect people negatively. People are reluctant to work due to the influence of machines. People become lazy and disorganized. They just expect their latest gadgets to do everything instead of them. Moreover, according to scientists, a great number of widespread devices produce radiation that can cause serious health problems. Furthermore, more and more people are becoming addicted to their modern gadgets, for instance computers, TVs or mobile phones. So, they neglect their home obligations, work or school and spend all their spare time in front of a laptop screen or a TV-set.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that in spite of all drawbacks, gadgets have, their benefits are much more considerable, as they save people`s time and let them enjoy life.

People always invent something new and unusual. Such things aimed to simplify people’s life always become an important part of it. For example, it is difficult to imagine the modern life without computers, television, cars, mobile phones and so on. We use them in our everyday life. Besides, every year all such inventions are developed and become faster and “smarter”.
Nowadays we often hear a popular word “gadget”. What is a gadget? It is a small device aimed to simplify the life of people. We can meet gadgets in different fields. For example, we use different kinds of fitbits in sport. It seems to me that one of the most unusual gadgets is used in medicine. It is an electronic adhesive bandage. It traces different things such as pulse rate and body temperature. In software industry the term “gadget” is also used. However in that field it means some additional icon, for example, which shows weather forecast.
As for devices it is impossible not to mention such gadgets as virtual vision video glasses, game consoles, smartphones, tablets, MP3-players and many other things. Smartphones are mobile phones which combines the functions of a phone and a computer. Tablets are devices with touch screen which gives a user an opportunity to control different computer software programmes. E-books are also gadgets. They allow people to read books everywhere without necessity of carrying printed books.

In my opinion, gadgets really simplify our life and allow us do many things when and where it is convenient for us.

Modern gadgets are an issue of controversy in a modern society. Some people believe that they are the safest place to keep their data, while others suppose that gadgets can give up all the secrets people have.
In my opinion, our gadgets are not a reliable place where we should keep important information. Firstly, the history of our browsers can keep some confidential information about our plans or preferences which we do not want to be known by anyone. Unfortunately, frauds can hack it easily and blackmail their victims with it. Secondly, modern gadgets provide an access to various social media which nowadays contain much information about us. Sometimes people post different photos not thinking about the consequences and some of these photos can be inappropriate for your reputation and cause troubles in a real life or at work.
Nevertheless, some people disagree with me.
They say that people can set a password for the phone or the computer, which can protect their data from strangers.
Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot agree with it. Unfortunately, many people do not bother themselves to make up a difficult password, therefore, it is easy to guess it and have access to the information storing on the phone.
In conclusion, I am still convinced that modern gadgets are not an appropriate storage of private information.

Современные гаджеты являются предметом споров в современном обществе. Некоторые люди считают, что они являются самым безопасным местом для хранения своих данных, в то время как другие полагают, что гаджеты могут раскрыть все секреты, которые есть у людей.
На мой взгляд, наши гаджеты не являются надежным местом, где мы должны хранить важную информацию. People want to keep fit and smart watch is the best friend in doing sports. It is also comfortable if your phone is not around you because the watch will send all notifications.
Finally, the headphones are very popular. Millions of people, especially young, wear them most of the day listening to music, news or books on their way to work or any other place. We can purchase ordinary or brand-new wireless headphones. We can choose the colour and even shape to our liking. Some companies which produce smartphones complete certain models with headphones.
