All people like watching films and series. Of course, they differ depending on the preferences of a particular person. For example, my Grandmother likes chick-flicks, my Mother likes detective films, my husband and my Grandfather like comedies and I like them, too. I also like mystery films. I hate art house films and most of chick-flicks. It’ is not my cup of tea.

Например, моя бабушка любит мелодрамы, моя мама любит детективные фильмы, мои муж и дедушка любят комедии, которые мне тоже нравятся. Мне также нравятся мистические фильмы. As I like many films, it is hard to say what film is my most favourite one. I like almost all films with Jackie Chan. I like such films as “Pirates of the Caribbean”, actually, all parts of it, “Van Helsing” with Hugh Jackman. So, maybe, there is the sense to tell about the film which impressed me most of all.
“Hachi: A Dog’s Tale” is a film which impressed me more than other films I have ever seen though I do not like films which make me cry. Maybe, it is a bit trivial but it is so. Of course, I cried at the end of the film like almost all people who watched this film. It is a very kind and moving film.
I was really moved when I knew that this film was based on a real life story. Maybe, it was the fact which made me feel this story deeply. It is a story about the dog which went to the railroad station to meet its deceased master every day over nine years.

My favourite film is Forrest Gump. Among different types of films I prefer with sense. That film is one of them. Also I like the acting, especially I like the acting of Tom Hanks . I saw the film many times. It is a drama about the man from the invented city Grinbow, State of Alabama. His name is Forrest Gump. The plot begins from the childhood of the main hero and finishes how he sends to school his son. He seats on the bench on the square and tells story of the life. His IQ is only 75 but he can run very quickly and it helped him to enter to University of Alabama. His skill to run helped him to became one of the best sportsmen of the USA. After he graduates the university and goes to the army of the USA. He was sent on the war to Vietnam. There he rescues a half of the platoon and becomes the hero. He becomes very famous. He receives Medal of Honor, the highest military award of the country from hands of the president.

У тебя одна большая ошибка - ты переводишь не слишком удачные русские фразы дословно, вместо того, чтобы их изменять так, чтобы легко можно было перевести.
Ну вот я подчистил текст, чтобы читалось лучше. Вообще надо, чтобы все времена были в одной плоскости, если начал в прошедшем helped, то и все остальное должно быть в прошедшем. А если одно в прошедшем, другое в настоящем - это плохо. В общем, можешь сам заменить все на настоящее, если хочешь.

MY FAVORITE MOVIE
I like movies very much, especially fantasy. My favorite movie is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The movie came out in 2001, but it is still very good. Of course, I have seen all the Harry Potter movies, but the first one is special for me.
The movie is set in modern England and in a fictional place called Hogwarts. The story is a mixture of real-life drama and fantasy. The main character of the movie is a ten-year-old orphan Harry. His parents died when he was a baby, and now he lives with his foster parents and his stepbrother who do not like him. Although Harry has a family, he is a very lonely boy.
What I like about this movie is how drastically Harry’s life changed one day. On his eleventh birthday he was invited to study at Hogwarts, the magic school that, as it turned out, his parents attended. He started learning how to use magic and fly on a broomstick. He found good friends and a new home. At the beginning of the movie, Harry is just an ordinary boy. At the end of the movie, he is a hero and one of the most promising young wizards in Hogwarts.
In the following movies, Harry’s story continues, but I like the first one the most. For me, it is not just a story about magic, wands, spells, it is a story about ordinary people and friendship. Yes, Harry, Ron, and Hermione can cast spells, but do not seem to be some sort of mysterious creatures. For us, they are just normal people. They speak and act like any kids of their age. I like Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone because it is the beginning of their story. The storylines of the main characters develop as they grow up in the other movies, but it is so nice to see them at the beginning of their journey.

I really like the movie "Narnia" it is very interesting. I especially like to watch it in winter, because of the atmosphere. Movies are so addictive to me! I once watched it until morning. I love him very much.

I’d like to tell you a little bit about my favourite TV program. It’s an informative show called “Galileo”. It is named after a famous scientist Galileo Galilei, who liked making experiments. I watch this program regularly and try not to miss the next issue. It is usually shown at weekends.
Each time the presenter of the program Alexander Pushnoy explains different phenomena of nature and shows amazing experiments. Most of all I like the part with these experiments. In my opinion, “Galileo” show is interesting not only for children but also for adults. Not every adult knows seemingly obvious facts. For example, why the sky is blue, why the sugar is sweet, how the paste is colored in tubes
This program can surprise even the most skeptical spectator. Usually each edition contains five different stories and experiments. Together with the presenter you can travel to distant places and even transfer in time. The “Galileo” team has several special agents, who conduct the experiments at scientific laboratories, factories and plants. Sometimes they travel into past or future. Some episodes are shot in foreign countries, such as Japan, the USA, Ukraine, etc.
My favourite program ends with the words “The world is more interesting than you think”. I absolutely agree with this statement and I always recommend my friends to watch “Galileo”.
