В последнее время технологии стали играть очень важную роль в нашей жизни. При помощи компьютеров и интернета мы можем обучаться быстрее и узнавать больше новой и интересной информации. Однако некоторые люди считают, что компьютеры приносят только вред. Каковы же причины такого отношения?
Сторонники противоположной точки зрения уверены, что использование компьютеров наносит вред здоровью. Также они считают, что студенты перестали посещать библиотеки и читать книги в последнее время.
Я частично согласен с данным мнением, потому что я думаю, что проводя слишком много времени за компьютером, можно нанести вред своему здоровью.
Принимая во внимание всё вышесказанное необходимо сказать, что я убеждён в том что с помощью современных технологий студенты могут обучаться быстрее и получать большое количество информации.
In recent times modern technology has become a very important part in lives of people all over the world. With help of computers and internet we can learn more quickly and get more new and intresting information. However there are people who consider that computers only harmful for us. So what are the reasons for such attitude?
From my point of view with help of computers modern students can get a lot of different information for different subjects, so as mathematics, social science, physics, history and many other. Students have an ability to download books, schoolbooks and videocourses with help of Internet. Also students can communicate and help each other do his or her homework. Students can send messages in text chats and make video conference using an Internet. Moreover they can watch educational videos and explore education resources in global network.
Supporters of an opposite opinion believe that using the computer is harmful for health. Also they consider that in recent times students stop to visit libraries and read books.
I partly agree with this point of view, because i think that spending a lot of time for using computer every day can be harmful for health.
Taking into consideration all i said above it is necessary to say that i am strongly convinced that with help of modern technology students can learn more quickly and get more information.
We live in the 21st century and we are surrounded by technology. Is it good or is it bad? Let’s think about it.
The first thing that springs to mind is technology is great. It makes our life easier in many ways. For instance we have a lot of kitchen appliances that help us cook, cut, and wash in less time than 20 years ago. So housing has become much less time consuming. It applies to many other areas of our life.
Technologies help us be connected. Most people have some kind of a smart phone that allows them to stay online, share their news with friends and relatives no matter where they are at the moment. Nowadays we have easy access to information, which help in education and business. There are numerous resources that give people opportunity to study at home or be accepted in a university abroad without leaving their home country.
Of course we need to mention technologies used in medicine. They help save lives or improve lives of those who suffered from accidents or were born with some abnormalities. Technologies help us travel in quicker ways. The list of advantages can go and on.
But does technology have disadvantages? It definitely does. The speed with which modern technologies develop and our attempts to catch up with it make our lives more stressful. We have become more isolated, as more and more people replace real relations with social media ones. We virtually don’t need to go out to satisfy our basic needs like food, medicine etc.
Technology definitely improves our lives but only when used in moderation.

Мы живем в XXI веке, и технологии нас окружают. Хорошо это или плохо? Давайте думать.
Первое, что приходит в голову, технологии – это прекрасно. Они упрощают нашу жизнь. Например, сейчас существует много бытовых приборов, которые помогают нам готовить, резать и мыть за меньшее время, чем 20 лет назад. Ведение домашнего хозяйства занимает теперь значительно меньше времени. И это справедливо для многих сфер нашей жизни.
Технологии помогают нам всегда оставаться на связи. У большинства теперь есть смартфон, с помощью которого они выходят в интернет, делятся новостями с друзьями и родственниками, где бы те ни находились. Сегодня очень просто получить доступ к нужной информации, что помогает как в обучении, так и в бизнесе. Существует множество ресурсов, позволяющих обучатся дома, есть возможность поступить в иностранный университет, не уезжая из родной страны.
Конечно, нужно отметить и технологии, используемые в медицине. Они помогают спасать жизни людей и улучшать качество жизни тех, кто пострадал в результате несчастного случая или родился с отклонениями. Технологии позволяют нам путешествовать, тратя все меньше времени. Список преимуществ, которые дают нам технологии, можно продолжать довольно долго.
Но есть ли какие-то недостатки? Определенно есть. Скорость, с которой сейчас развиваются технологии и наши попытки угнаться за прогрессом, наполняют нашу жизнь стрессом. Мы стали более одинокими, поскольку все больше и больше людей предпочитают реальным отношениям виртуальные. Нам в принципе можно не выходить из дома, чтобы удовлетворить базовые потребности в еде, лекарствах и т.д.
Технологии значительно улучшают нашу жизнь, если мы используем их разумно.
Computers, smartphones, and the internet have entered our life and we hardly imagine it without modern technologies. However, we cannot say that electronic devices and the internet have only advantages.
Nowadays, there are millions of video games available for mobile phones, tablets, laptops, computers, and even TVs. Not surprisingly, teenagers are most crazy about games. However, this hobby is mainly supposed to be bad.
The problem is that video games make young people addicted which leads to aggressive behavior, sociopathy, and depressions. Certainly, not all games are that bad, there are safe ones which do not affect teenagers in a bad way.
Nevertheless, most games are violent and make gamers kill. Due to the constant development of technologies, graphics become better and better, so do the cruel scenes with lots of blood in games. Video games’ creators try to stir up the interest of their customers releasing a series of games, updating them and adding the function of the network game.
In such a way, gamers remain hooked and never lose interest. They can always improve their results and play with other people as well as their friends. Teenagers might spend a lot of money on computer games, too. Apart from the cost of discs and different accessories for the computer, they also buy virtual weapons or even game characters.
Addicted teenagers have problems with communication and become indifferent to real life which is obviously dangerous for their future.

В наши дни существуют миллионы видеоигр доступных для мобильных телефонов, планшетов, ноутбуков, компьютеров и даже телевизоров. Неудивительно, подростки больше остальных сходят с ума по играм. Однако это хобби в основном считается плохим.
Проблема в том, что видеоигры делают подростков зависимыми, что приводит к агрессии, социопатии и депрессиям. Конечно, не все игры плохие, существуют и безопасные, которые не пагубно влияют на молодежь.
Тем не менее, большинство игр пропагандируют насилие и заставляют геймеров убивать. Из-за постоянного развития технологий, графика становится все лучше и лучше, как и жестокие кровавые сцены в играх. Создатели видеоигр стараются подогревать интерес покупателей, выпуская серии игр, обновляя их и добавляя функцию сетевой игры.
Таким образом, геймеры остаются увлеченными и никогда не теряют интерес. Они всегда могут улучшать свои результаты и играть с другими людьми, в том числе со своими друзьями. Подростки также могут тратить кучу денег на игры. Помимо стоимости дисков и различных аксессуаров для компьютера, они также покупают виртуальное оружие и даже персонажей.
Зависимые подростки испытывают трудности в общении со сверстниками и становятся безразличными к реальной жизни, что очевидно опасно для их будущего.
The last decade has been significantly marked by the rapid development of modern technologies. Modern technologies are beginning to include new educational technologies that effectively and qualitatively change the material of cultural content with the help of a computer. The Internet, e-mail, digital television have firmly taken a place in our lives, which often takes a back seat to the established media, especially among the younger generation. Communication ceases to be one-sided, it manifests an element of interactivity. The question of the impact of modern technologies on the younger generation appears in a new light. The amount of information available to every teenager in our time, it increases many times, the spread of news is diverse and very rapidly. Grouped into the world wide web, the text is covered with hypertext fields, new unimpeded connections created by "someone" appear in it, it completely loses the author's words and the semantic completeness built by the author.
Exploring the impact of modern technologies on the younger generation, it is possible to consider the Internet as a characteristic environment that forms social relations. Of course, modern technology plays a significant role in the lives of adolescents – it is both a means of communication and a source of information. The study of the socio-cultural situation in post-Soviet Russia shows that the increased development of media culture, especially audiovisual (cinema, video, computer games, satellite television), very actively affects the younger generation on their public consciousness as a powerful means of information, as a factor in the development of creative abilities in adolescents. Today it is obvious that the Internet, the computer, the smartphone give to the teenager the right of individual communication in an interactive mode both for knowledge of the interesting information, and for realization of the creative ideas.
Исследуя влияние современных технологий на подрастающее поколение, дозволительно рассматривать Интернет в качестве характерной среды формирующей общественные отношения. Разумеется, современные технологии играют значительную роль в жизни подростков – это и средство общения, и источник информации. Исследование социокультурной ситуации в постсоветской России показывают что, усиленное развитие медиакультуры, а особенно аудиовизуальной (кино, видео, компьютерные игры, спутниковое телевидение), очень активно влияет на подрастающее поколение на их общественное сознание как мощное средство информации, как фактор развития у подростка творческих способностей. На сегодняшний день очевидно, что интернет, компьютер, смартфон предоставляют подростку право индивидуального общения в интерактивном режиме как для познания интересующей информации, так и для реализации своих творческих идей.
