Как я провел выходные
I really love weekends. These are the days when I do not have to go to school and have an opportunity to sleep longer and do everything I want. Normally at the weekends, I tend to spend time with my family or friends. Very often my parents and I go to the countryside. We have a small house not far from Moscow. So these weekends were no exception. The weather was really brilliant. It was warm and sunny.

Обычно по выходным я стараюсь проводить время со своей семьей или друзьями. Очень часто мы с родителями едем на дачу. У нас есть небольшой дом недалеко от Москвы. И эти выходные не были исключением. Погода была замечательной. Было тепло и солнечно.
On Saturday I went for a walk with my friends there. We rode a bike and played various games outside. In the evening I had a dinner with my family. It was really delicious. My father made grilled meat, while my mother cooked some salads and baked my favorite cake. It is one of the numerous traditions of our family. Practically every Saturday we tend to have a dinner together and talk about everything. On Sunday it was really hot, so I swam in a lake with my friends. Then we played badminton and beach volleyball. It was fun! I really enjoy spending time in the countryside. I have many friends there, so I never get bored.
В субботу я гуляла там со своими друзьями. Мы катались на велосипеде и играли в разные игры на улице. Вечером я ужинала со своей семьей. Ужин был очень вкусный. Мой отец сделал мясо на гриле, в то время как мама приготовила салаты и испекла мой любимый торт. Это одна из многочисленных традиций нашей семьи. Практически каждую субботу мы ужинаем вместе и говорим обо всем. В воскресенье было очень жарко, поэтому я плавала в озере со своими друзьями. Потом мы играли в бадминтон и пляжный волейбол. Это было весело! Мне очень нравится проводить время в деревне. У меня есть много друзей, поэтому мне никогда не бывает скучно.
My weekends were really eventful and I had an opportunity to have a rest from a tough working week. Sunday evening I did my homework and went to bed early, so as not to be late for school. I am looking forward to the next weekend!

On Saturdays and Sundays I'm free. I don't go to school and can do what I want. My parents don't work either and stay at home.
It's Saturday. I get up later than usual.I'm not in a hurry, I take my time.However, I must help my parents with housework. I also go to the supermarket with my father.
On Sundays I often go for a walk with my parents. Sometimes we go to the zoo as I really like animals. My favourite animals are tigers, lions and leopards,they are clever and very beautiful. My cat has a lot in common with them.
Our family very often go to the theatre. My favourite theatre is the musical theatre.
Our family like watching TV or videos. We have a video player and very often see our favourite films. I can spend a lot of time in front of the TV set when there are interesting films on, for example detective stories. My mum watches romantic films and comedies. As for my dad,he prefers sport programmes.
At the weekend we sometimes go to visit somebody or have guests at home. I frequently meet my friends and we go for a walk or play computer games.Outside we play different games like football, volleyball, basketball. There is a good playground next to my house.
When the weather is bad, we stay at home. My mum and dad read, watch TV, phone the friends and relatives. I also have something to do, for example, to play the guitar, play computer games, read books. I also have to do my homework. So,we are never bored at the weekend.
По субботам и воскресеньям я свободен. Мне не нужно идти в школу, и я могу делать то, что хочу. Мои родители тоже не работают и остаются дома.
Суббота. Я встаю позже, чем обычно. Я не тороплюсь. У меня достаточно времени. Однако, я все же должен помогать родителям с домашними делами. Я также хожу с папой в супермаркет.
По воскресеньям я часто хожу гулять с родителями. Иногда мы ходим в зоопарк, так как я очень люблю животных. Мои любимые животные-тигры,львы и леопарды,они умные и очень красивые. У моей кошки с ними много общего.
Наша семья очень часто ходит в театр. Мой любимый театр-это музыкальный театр.
Наша семья любит смотреть телевизор или видео. У нас есть видеопроигрыватель, и мы очень часто смотрим наши любимые фильмы. Я могу проводить очень много времени перед телевизором, когда идут интересные фильмы, например,детективы. Моя мама смотрит романтические фильмы и комедии. Что касается папы, то он предпочитает спортивные передачи.
В выходные мы также иногда ходим в гости или принимаем гостей дома. Я часто встречаюсь с друзьями, мы ходим гулять или играем в компьютерные игры. На улице мы играем в такие игры, как футбол, волейбол, баскетбол. Рядом с моим домом есть хорошая площадка.
Когда погода плохая, мы остаемся дома. Мама и папа читают, смотрят телевизор, звонят друзьям и родственникам. Мне тоже есть, чем заняться, например, поиграть на гитаре, в компьютерные игры, почитать книги. Мне также нужно делать домашнее задание. Как видите,мы никогда не скучаем в выходные.
I like to go to school during the week as I get to know something new every day. But most of all I like weekends. I do not have to get up early in the morning. I can stay in bed longer. During the weekend I can do everything I want. But this doesn’t mean that I do nothing at all.
Usually I read books and listen to my favorite singers. I meet with my friend and we walk along my town and fancy funny stories about people around us. Sometimes when the weather is good I take a ride on my bicycle to the nearest park. I enjoy being on the fresh air as much as possible. Some of my friends go to the countryside every weekend. It is some kind of a family tradition for them.
In whole the weekend is the great time when all my family gathers together. I have an opportunity to spend more time with my father. He likes to play different active games with me . For example, last week we spent half of the day playing football. We get tired a bit but we were happy. Next weekend we are planning to go fishing. At the end of the weekend we have traditional weekend dinner when my mother cooks something delicious. We sit at the dinner table making jokes and planning our next week. This is the magical moment that gives me an inspiration for the whole future week.

Мне нравится ходить в школу в течение недели, так как я узнаю что-то новое каждый день . Но больше всего мне нравится выходные. Я не должен вставать рано утром. Я могу оставаться в постели дольше. В выходные дни я могу делать все, что я хочу. Но это не значит, что я ничего не делаю вообще.
Обычно я читаю книги и слушаю моих любимых певцов. Я встречаюсь с моим другом, и мы идем гулять по моему городу, сочиняя забавные истории о людях, окружающих нас. Иногда, когда погода хорошая, я люблю прокатиться на велосипеде в ближайший парк. Мне нравится быть на свежем воздухе как можно больше. Некоторые из моих друзей ездят за город каждые выходные. Это у них своего рода семейная традиция.

During the weekend I can enjoy myself and do whatever I like but from Monday till Saturday I have almost no spare time.
My days off are Saturday and Sunday. I always look forward to my weekend. I cannot say that I am a heavy sleeper but as I get very tired during the week I let my self sleep a little longer at the weekend. I usually get up at about ten o’clock and go to the bathroom where I have a shower, clean my teeth and brush my hair.
Then I go to the kitchen and help my mother lay the table. On Sundays my parents sleep a bit longer too, that is why we have neither breakfast nor lunch but brunch. All of us like porridge and fried eggs for breakfast, but I prefer apple juice and my parents-coffee with milk.
After brunch my father does the washing up and my mother and I do the flat. As a rule it takes us about an hour and a half as we have only two rooms. We do not need to go shopping on Sunday as my mother does it on Saturday. So after twelve o’clock I am free to do whatever I like.
People spend their days off in different ways. Some of them prefer to stay at home and read a book or visit an art exhibition, a museum or a sport event. In the evening, as a rule, they go to a theatre or to see their friends. Other people prefer to spend their days off out of town.
As for me I also like to spend my days off in the country. I go in for sports, that is why on Sunday I go to the tennis court and play tennis for about two hours. I have been playing tennis since my 8th form and I can say that it helps me relax and feel well during thewhole week. On my way home I usually drop in at the confectioneryand buy a cherry cake because we are used to having something tasty for dinner.
Sunday is the only day when we have dinner together. That is one of the reasons why I like Sundays.
All of us like nature and are fond of walking. After dinner we are used to going to the park which is near our house. It is very pleasant to walk there. We enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful scenery around us. While walking we usually discuss the books we have read, the films we have watched recently and ask each other a lot of questions about our life, work and studies.
After coming home we either watch TV or play different games, chess for example. At eight o’clock we have light supper, usually some vegetables. My mother is very good at making different salads.
After supper we read books. We have a good library at home. My father is fond of reading historical novels because he is interested in history. My mother is indifferent to such kind of books. She prefers detective stories. As for me I like science fiction very much.
At ten o’clock on Sunday I start preparing for the academy as I am always short of time on Monday morning. At eleven o’clock I go to bed because I have to get up early next morning.
