EATING HABITS

1. It is not a secret that our meals influence our mood.

2. Also it is very important for our health.

3. Every single person should eat proper kinds of food – dairy products, meats, fruit and vegetables, fats and sugars,
cereals and grains.

4. Dairy products provide us with calcium, meat provide our bodies with protein, iron, zinc.

5. Eating fruit and vegetables helps to keep us healthy too because they give us fibre, vitamins and minerals.

6. We should eat fats and sugars in moderation , because too much fats and sugars can cause different heart-diseases. 7. Cereals and grains are important for us because they provide us with the energy we need for physical activity.
8. In this fast-moving world it is necessary to watch what we eat – it should be healthy food, not junk one, which has become very popular.
9. Eating too much junk food can cause overweight and a heart-disease.

10. For example, it is much better to eat an apple or a banana than to eat a double hamburger with ketchup and mayonnaise.

11. You will feel full in both cases , but a fruit or a vegetable is healthier.
12. Today there are a lot of different restaurants and cafes where you can eat delicious and not really expensive food. 13. The service is usually excellent and friendly waiters help you to relax and enjoy your meal fully.

14. You can try any types of food in restaurants – you can try homemade cakes, beefsteaks, pasta and macaroni and others.

15. For a main course you can order fish, meat or chicken with some rice or potatoes, also you can ask for pasta and salad.

16. You can eat a bowl of ice-cream, a piece of an apple pie, strawberries with cream or something like that for dessert.
17. For drink you can order a glass of water or juice, a cup of coffee or tea or other drink such as m ilkshake , stewed fruit or kissel.

Also in Russia there are many traditional dishes such as borscht or pancakes. In Russia they usually drink fruit drink or compote for lunch. The whole family gathers for dinner and spend time together, eat delicious food.

Some people have a healthy diet. They are track calories and eat healthy food, for example vegetables, fruits, cereal flakes, cottage cheese. People who have diets keep track of the amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates. I also watch my health and figure, so I stick to a diet, because proper nutrition is the key to success.

I prefer eating at home, because homemade food tastes better for me and so I can spend time with my family.

On special occasions I eat food that I don't eat every day. For example for birthday I eat cake. Also for the New Year we prepare a large table with food there red fish, chicken, a lot of salads. When I go to a restaurant, I always order salmon, because this fish needs to be cooked correctly, which professional chefs do very well.

One of my hobbies is cooking. Every day I try to cook something delicious, especially what my family and I like. I usually cook some kind of everyday food and cakes. I like cooking cakes the most, because it is very interesting and also delicious. For my cakes, I find recipes on the Internet, in books, and sometimes my grandmother tells me them. When the cake is ready, I decorate it beautifully with pastry sprinkles, special edible flowers and cream. Everyone who tried my cakes liked them, because I cooked them with love.

In conclusion, I can say that in Russia everyone can choose the type of food that he likes. As well as Russian cuisine is very diverse and everyone will find something that he likes. I want to talk about eating habits in my country.

    T oday they are not satisfied, but tomorrow it will be better — almost all people live like this. I n my opinion, this habit prevents you from rejoicing today and generally makes a person unhappy. O ther people live in the past. T hey remember how it was good for them to live in the Soviet era, everything was there, but now there are no opportunities, the work is bad, life has become worse.

    I believe that it’s even worse for the past than for the future, so people do not see the opportunities that are always right in front of him. I try to think positively, because I think that if you use the positive, you can get a positive, and if you use the negative, then in the negative events will occur. A lso my useful habit is continuous training. I consider this habit not just useful, but one of the main secrets of the success of successful people. I believe that my habits are positive for me in general, but they also have some negative aspects. T.

    I n other words, the habit is actions that we do without effort and unconsciously. Bad habits do not allow a person to realize himself as a person in this life. V ery often bad habits do not harm its owner, but cause damage to others.

    F or example, the habit of talking loudly, laughing where it is not necessary, interrupting the interlocutor, being rude.     t all begins with awareness and a desire to change something. F ortunately, there are already simple technologies that allow you to change your habits. I believe that there are hundreds of habits that shape our thinking and way of life. S o, success in life is in essence, aimed at a certain goal, useful habits. I want to achieve the results I need, so I get new good habits and start applying them in my daily routine. Thus, the goals set in the essay are achieved and the tasks are fulfilled.     I consider that man’s health depends on his mode of life. To prevent the diseases it’s necessary to keep some simple regulations: to go in for sports, to eat carefully, to take a rest and to walk frequently in the open air. I’m fifteen years old and the last three years I do my morning exercises. It inspirits and gives strength to me for a whole day. I add dousing with cold water in winter. I think that conditioning to the cold is the main method for preserving my health. My favourite winter sports are cross-country skiing and skating. I prefer to run in the park and play tennis in summer. I go to the swimming pool twice a week the whole year round. Swimming increases the respiratory system. I also try to observe a day regimen. Every day I go to bed and get up at approximately the same time. I give special attention to meals. I don’t eat fatty and high-calorie foods and I don’t drink heavily gas-cut beverages. At my time of life some peers smoke and drink alcohol but I think that it’s dangerous for a human organism and sooner or later it will be injurious to our health. I think that everybody must begin to take care of his health in his youth because it’s easier to take care of our health than to recover it.

Для того чтобы не болеть, нужно соблюдать несколько простых правил: заниматься спортом, правильно питаться, полноценно отдыхать и чаще бывать на свежем воздухе. Мне 15 лет, и из них 3 последних года я делаю по утрам зарядку. Это придаёт мне бодрости и сил на весь день. Зимой я добавляю обливание холодной водой. Считаю закаливание самым главным способом сохранения здоровья. Мои любимые зимние виды спорта это бег на лыжах и катание на коньках. Летом я предпочитаю бегать в парке и играть в большой теннис. Круглый год я посещаю бассейн два раза в неделю. Плаванье укрепляет дыхательную систему. Также я стараюсь соблюдать режим. Я ложусь и встаю в одно и то же время каждый день. Особое внимание я уделяю питанию. Я не ем жирную и высококалорийную пищу, и не пью сильно газированных напитков. В моём возрасте некоторые сверстники уже курят и употребляют алкогольные напитки, но я считаю, что это разрушительно для организма и если не сейчас, то в будущем обязательно скажется на здоровье. Мне кажется, что каждый человек должен начинать заботиться о своём здоровье в молодости, так как уберечь здоровье проще, чем вернуть его.

    The health of a person is the main value in the life. It cannot be bought with any money! There is no price for it. Being the sick person, you cannot realize all your dreams and be successful in the modern world. But how to be healthy, when there are a lot of fatal temptations around us?
    Don`t begin! Don`t make the first cigar inhalation, the first sip of alcohol! Everything begins so simply, but comes to the end with a trouble.
    It was said so much about the harm of smoking. For a long time it has been proved, that smoking is not only reflected on the budget of a family, pollutes air, but also ruins our health. But, in spite of all that the number of smoking people is not diminished. And what is more grievous, not only the teens but also the junior schoolboys begin to smoke.
    I think those, who don`t do his (her) best in study or school life, as a rule begin to smoke at the school age. It was proved, that there is no such organ which would not suffer from smoking. Smoking is not a harmless pastime which can be given up without efforts. It is necessary to have the will - power to stop smoking.
    In addition to smoking, we can name the other fatal habit: the drinking of alcohol. Unfortunately, very often they combine with each other. Alcohol is a poison! Having penetrated into an organism, it has destroyed the brain of the person for some months. A great man said that drinking alcohol is a voluntary mad, and I think he was right. Under the influence of alcohol the person can make absolutely rash actions. The matter is that alcoholis the drug, and drugs influence on the brains of the person. Especially alcohol is very dangerous for the young because their organism is exposed to the influence of harmful substances more easily. Even a single sip of alcohol causes a poisoning which can lead to death. And the usage of drugs … They ruin all human organs, so the drug addicts die young. Few of them live longer than several years after they have started taking drugs.
    So, I consider that there is no place to these habits in our life. To my mind, only healthy people should live on our planet and then our Earth will be brighter and more beautiful, because only the healthy person will provide its further development and prosperity.

    Здоровье человека - это главная ценность в жизни. Его нельзя купить ни за какие деньги! Будучи больным человеком, вы не сможете воплотить все свои мечты в реальность и полностью реализоваться в современном мире. Здоровью нет цены. Как же его сохранить, когда вокруг столько пагубных соблазнов? Не начинать! Не делать первую затяжку, первый глоток! Всё начинается просто, а заканчивается бедой.

    О вреде курения сказано немало. Давно доказано, что курение не только отражается на бюджете семьи, загрязняет воздух, но и вредит здоровью. И, несмотря на это курящих людей не убавляется. А что особенно печально, к сигаретам тянутся даже младшие школьники, не говоря уже о подростках.

    По моему мнению, курить в школьном возрасте, как правило, начинают те, кто ничем себя не проявил ни в учёбе, ни в школьной жизни. Наукой доказано, что нет такого органа, который не страдал бы от курения. Курение - не безобидное занятие, которое можно бросить без усилий. Для того чтобы бросить курить, нужна большая сила воли.

    К вредным привычкам, кроме курения, также относится ещё более пагубная - потребление алкоголя. К сожалению, в жизни они очень часто сочетаются друг с другом. Алкоголь - это яд! Проникнув в организм,он разрушает мозг человека всего за несколько месяцев. Один из мудрецов сказал, что употребление спиртного - это добровольное сумасшествие. Под влиянием алкоголя человек может совершать абсолютно необъяснимые поступки. Дело в том, что алкоголь - это наркотик, а наркотики воздействуют на сознание человека. Особенно опасен алкоголь для юных, поскольку их организм легче подвергается воздействию вредных веществ. Даже несколько глотков спиртного вызывают отравление, которое может привести к смерти.

    А употребление наркотиков… Они разрушают весь организм, поэтому наркоманы умирают модолыми, некоторые из них живут дольше,чем несколько лет после начала употребления наркотика. Поэтому я считаю, что в нашей жизни нет места таким привычкам.По-моему,только здоровые люди должны жить на нашей планете,и тогда наша земля будет ярче и красивее, так как только здоровый человек сможет жить и развиваться благополучно.
