Цели занятия:
Образовательная:
1) совершенствовать лингвистическую и речевую компетенцию во всех видах речевой деятельности, путем обобщения единичных знаний по теме в систему;
Развивающая:
1) развивать грамматические навыки в употреблении;
2) развивать навыки монологического высказывания;
3) развивать навыки аудирования с целью извлечения конкретной информации;
Воспитательная:
1) воспитывать уважительное отношение к изучаемому языку;
2) воспитание культуры и потребности в практическом использовании языка в различных сферах жизни.

1 этап. A) Организационный момент. 2 мин
Задачи: 1. Поприветствовать студентов.
2. Проверить количество присутствующих студентов.
3. Настроить на общение на иностранном языке.

Учащиеся : Hello Miss Terenteva and our guests!
Преподаватель : Nice to see you! Sit down, please. How are you this morning?

Б) Проверка домашнего задания 5 мин
Задача: осуществить контроль выполнения домашнего задания.
Дома учащиеся должны были выполнить упражнение из учебника – вставить слова в тексты о Хилари Клинтон и группе Битлз. На доске написаны ответы. Учащиеся выполняют самопроверку .
Преподаватель : At home you should make the exercise at page and fill in the words in the biographies of famous people. Look at the board and make check yourself.
С ) Введение в тему . 2 мин
Задача: установить связь темы данного занятия с прошлой темой, сообщить тему занятия, заинтересовать.
У ч ащиеся: Yes, we have! Yes, I listened to pop music/ I wore trainers everywhere/ etc.
Преподаватель : Now let’s practice English!
II этап. Развитие грамматических навыков.
1) Введение грамматического правила 10 мин
Преподаватель : Look. Who is this girl?
Учащиеся : Your sister/ English girl/ You!
Преподаватель : : Yes, this is me. I was 16 and I lived in Murmansk. Where am I living now?
Учащиеся : in Saint Petersburg.
Далее учащимся дается объяснение особенностей употребления новой конструкции. Опорные моменты записываются на меловой доске.
e.g. I used to live in Murmansk when I was a teenager. Now I don’t live there.
Преподаватель : If you want to talk about actions that you didn’t do in the past, use the construction “didn’t use to + verb”
e.g. I didn’t use to wear glasses. Now I wear glasses .
2) Первичная тренировка грамматических навыков 15 мин
Перед выполнением грамматического упражнения, актуализируется лексика к представленному слайду презентации. На доске записаны существительные : jeans, long hair, meat, a tie, cigarettes, tennis. Учащиеся называют соответствующий глагол.
Преподаватель : So you are going to do a training exercise. Firstly, let us revise the verb collocations. For example, I write football , you say the verb, we usually play football. So, look at the board. Here are some nouns. Say a verb.
Учащиеся дают ответы : wear jeans, have long hair, eat meat, wear a tie, smoke cigarettes, play tennis.
Учащимся (Слайд №7) , которое каждый ученик выполняет самостоятельно. Затем проверяют вместе с преподавателем.
Преподаватель : Look, this is Tony now, but he was another person in 1998. He has changed. Work individually and write about him. You have 10 minutes to do this exercise.
Учащиеся выполняют упражнения. Производится самороверка по слайдам презентации.
3 ) Тренировка грамматических навыков в подготовленной устной речи 10 мин
Для отработки выученной грамматической конструкции в речи учащимся предлагается выбрать 3 картинки с листа и рассказать о своих прошлых привычках. Учащиеся выполняют задание, а затем высказываются по теме.
Преподаватель : Now choose 2 pictures and write 2 sentences about your past habits and tell about them. You have 10 minutes . (Слайд № 9).
Преподаватель : Let's play a game! Divide in two teams. Look at the people and
I II этап. Развитие умений аудирования .
1. Просмотр видео и развитие навыков аудирования 7 мин
Преподаватель : Now watch a video about 16 people and what they used to do. Choose the correct answer. You have 5 minutes. You watch video 2 times. (Приложение 2)
Учащиеся выполняют задание.
2. Прослушивание текста и развитие навыков аудирования 7 мин
Учащимся раздаются листы с заданиями и предлагается прослушать текст о девушке, которая рассказывает о своих школьных годах. Учащиеся выбирают какие из утверждений в упражнении верны, какие нет. Затем проводится проверка .
Преподаватель : Now look at at photo. This is Mellisa. She is from California. Listen to Mellisa’s talking about her school years and answer the question ‘Was she a rebel? Listen again and mark the sentences T (True) or F ( False). ( Слайд )
3. Прослушивание песни 5 мин
Учащимся задают вопросы с глаголом '' change ''.
Преподаватель : Do you like changes? Have you changed anything recently? What would you like to change something in your life or maybe in your appearance? Do you know such singer as Sophie Ellis Bextor? Where is she from? Where is she living? Now listen to her song “I won’t change you” and fill in the gaps. You will listen to the song two times ( Слайд ).

Преподаватель : for homework do ex. 3,4 at page 140 in your workbooks.

Преподаватель : Well, our lesson has come to the end . Thank for your work. Listen your marks: (…..) Let’s do the summary of the lesson. What have you learnt today?
If you ask me how I like to spend my time, I will answer that school is the place where I spend most of my time. Sometime I have difficult time there, but most of the time I really enjoy it.
The best day at school that I remember, was the last day of the year. Well actually I like all last days at school. We don’t study anymore, we make many pictures together and with our teachers, go to the park and so on.
My last day of the previous year was really unforgettable. I got up very early, made nice hairstyle and make up. I cooked breakfast for the whole family, had a cup of tea and went to meet my friends. Few days before we bought a present and flowers for our teachers and that was the day to give these presents.
So that day we didn’t have any lessons, but the day was full of surprises. So we brought the cake for all the teachers and met our photographer. We planned a photo and video project with all our class.
It was a nice sunny day, almost end of May. All my classmates we nicely dressed-up, in a good mood and ready to make interesting pictures. After few hours we went to the center, bought some balloons and continued to make photos. We were not ready to finish school and say goodbye to our friends, but we were ready for vacation.
I think I will never forget that wonderful day. We have many pictures and videos, we were laughing and running around and had a lot of fun. I do believe the best days are still to come, but now I carefully collect all the memories. So far I have many good friends at school and together we had good and bad days.
I want to advise everybody to appreciate every moment, to see good in bad days and things, to make as many friends as possible and enjoy these teenage days. One day all these memories will become interesting stories, that we can tell to our friends, children and grandchildren. And now I am happy to share the memories about my best day at school with you.

Если вы спросите меня, как я провожу своё время, я отвечу, что школа - это то место, где я провожу большую часть своей жизни. Иногда мне приходится тут несладко, но все-таки я наслаждаюсь этим временем.
Лучший день в школе, который помню, это последний учебный день в прошлом году. Хотя, если честно, я вообще люблю окончание учебного года. Мы не учимся, а делаем совместные снимки с учениками и учителями, ходим в парк и так далее.
Мой последний день прошлого года был просто незабываемым. Помню, я проснулась очень рано, уложила волосы, сделала макияж. Также я приготовила завтрак для всей семьи, попила чаю и пошла на встречу с друзьями. За несколько дней до этого мы купили подарок и цветы для учителей и вот настал день, чтобы вручить их.
В тот день у нас не было никаких уроков, но все же день был полон сюрпризов. Мы принесли торт для всех наших учителей и встретили фотографа. Мы запланировали фото и видео съёмки со всем классом.
Стоял прекрасный солнечный день, был конец мая. Все одноклассники нарядно оделись, каждый был в приподнятом настроении и готов сделать потрясающие фото.
Через несколько часов мы пошли в центр города, купили воздушные шары и продолжили делать снимки. Мы не были готовы закончить школу и попрощаться с нашими друзьями, но каждый был готов к каникулам.
Думаю, я никогда не забуду тот потрясающий день. Мы сделали массу фото и видео, много смеялись и бегали - в общем, веселились. Я верю, что лучшие дни ещё впереди, но уже сейчас я тщательно собираю эти воспоминания. Пока что у меня полно друзей в школе и у нас бывают как хорошие, так и плохие дни.
Я хочу посоветовать всем ценить каждый момент, видеть в плохом только хорошее, завести как можно больше друзей и наслаждаться этими юными днями. Однажды все эти воспоминания превратятся в интересные истории, которые мы сможем рассказать своим друзьям, детям и внукам. А сейчас я просто счастлива поделиться своими воспоминаниями о лучшем школьном дне с вами.
Childhood is really a wonderful time. As for me, it is always a pleasure to retrospect, being transferred to that marvellous time of life like childhood. In my opinion, everyone has its own vivid recollection that he or she could call up and tell to one’s people.
One of those afteglows which I can remember is about my first day at school. It was magnificent sunny day on the 1st of September 1993. My mom woke me up not as usually, at 7 o’clock a.m., with the words: “Mary, it is going to be your first day at school!” I clearly remember that moment, however I can’t describe the sences that were ovefilling me. Something was tickling in my stomach. This was truly new to me.
My mom and brother took me to school. It’s a pity that my father had a business trip that week. After the first bell had rung, we were invited to our classes. I kissed my parents good bye; they promised to pick me up in an hour then. I made my first steps towards that huge (as it seemed to me) school building. A shiver was running down my spine that minute.
When we were seated, a techer kindly asked us to take the exercise books out from our rucksacks. This was my mom who had prepared all the things for me, but my attempts to found my exercise book in my bag were, unfortunately, unsuccessful. I don’t know what happened to me that time that I hadn’t noticed that bright red folder and several blank writing-books in it, instead I always have my first teacher in mind who put my first “2” for my inattention on the first day at school on the 1st of September.
From my point of view, it is a child who lives in every person’s soul. Merely the toys we played in our childhood changed to other, big ones and more serious. Eventually, everyone has its own live treasured possessions. My ones are my childhood memories.

В топике Школьные годы я хочу поделиться тем, что я думаю о значении школы в жизни каждого человека. Школьные годы — прекрасное время, которое все стараются как можно быстрее пережить, а потом всю жизнь вспоминают с легким сожалением, поскольку его нельзя вернуть. Многие не любили школу, но, оглядываясь назад, понимают, что именно в то время были счастливы. Мы не любили сидеть на уроках и слушать учителя – и осознаем, что потеряли бесценные крупицы знаний, постигать которые сейчас значительно труднее. Бесспорно, школа дала многое – основы знаний, дипломы, аттестат. Школа - это место, где мы учимся развивать наши отношения с ровесниками и взаимному уважению. Но, я считаю, что слишком много времени отнимает выполнение многочисленных и не всегда полезных домашних заданий. Еще хочу сказать, что в нашей школе прекрасные учителя, они хорошо выполняют свою основную задачу - взрастить в ребенке желание и стремление учиться и познавать. Я очень люблю свою школу и всегда с удовольствием посещаю занятия.
School is the traditional place for enculturating children into our national life. In the modern age, the role assigned to our schools is to prepare children for the literate public culture. Some students like school, others don't; but they all study for eleven years and gain knowledge by doing different tasks. For students who are doing well in most subjects and who want to get higher education, school is an attractive place. But those who are not successful at school, and who are always pressed by teachers and their parents, school is boring and uninteresting.
I think that the most important role of school is giving knowledge. I can say that my school gives such knowledge, and that's why I'm happy at school. Most of my teachers have a lot of teaching experience; they understand very well the difficulties of the learning process. They help us to learn all subjects well. They also guide us and advise us on all aspects of our study and life. They share their knowledge and experience with us, and we respond with love. If you want to study well, you must feel relaxed and happy with your family, school and your social life. Your parents should understand you and help you when you need their help. My parents usually help and support me when I need it. We have our school psychologist who also helps us to overcome difficulties and cope with our problems. The main purpose of our school is to create a supportive and caring atmosphere for students.
The standard of education in our school is very high. I'm a rather good student really. I don't have many problems with the work; but I usually get into trouble for talking, especially when I speak at the same time as the teacher. Once I remember being taken to the head mistress for calling my classmate a bad name. However, I generally get on quite well with the teachers. I am quite successful in class and I usually go to school with pleasure, because I like my school and my teachers.
However I think that sometimes we have too much homework. Teachers and parents insist that doing homework develops the student's ability to work without assistance, or that additional work could help us complete our education successfully. But I believe, in many subjects, homework is totally unnecessary, because it doesn't do me any good. I think it's really stupid to copy from a textbook, and there is no point in duplicating the textbook. It's just reinventing the wheel. And if we could get rid of unnecessary homework, we would have more time to take up hobbies and interests.
School is not only a place of education; it is a place where we develop our relationships, increasing tolerance and mutual respect of one another among our classmates. At school we can enjoy different cultural activities and demonstrate our individual talents. Everyone has an opportunity to take part in different performances at a school or class party, or to take part in different sport competitions. These activities help us with our education and relationships among our classmates. We want to have harmony in our class and among our classmates, but it is rather difficult to achieve. Of course, we try our best to do it, and in many cases we overcome our problems and solve them. And only sensitive teachers can help us, because boys and girls are not passive lumps of clay; they are living, pulsating, developing, mysterious beings who must be studied and understood before they can be taught in the true sense.
So a teacher plays an important role in our education, and when we remember our school years we usually remember our teachers, if they were fair and intelligent or not. I think that I'm a lucky person – almost all my teachers are very interesting and intelligent. When our teachers criticize us, they follow such rules: they try to correct a student's action, not him; they do not impress upon him that he has no abilities; they try to contribute to the minds and souls of their students; they try to be a path for their students to go through a dark forest of school rules. But I can't judge all teachers, because there are as many opinions how to treat a child as there are people. Teachers must choose their methods themselves, but they should remember that they influence and shape the student's opinion about their school. As for me, I think that in our school almost all teachers understand the students and become like parents to us. They support us and care for us. I'm happy at my school and so are my classmates.
