There are many days that stuck in my memory, but that day was special and I shall remember it during my whole life. It is my first working day. When I got the work which I have been wanted for ages, I felt like I was in paradise. I started to jump from joy and happiness. I worked very hard to get that work and finally after many efforts, I got it. That day is a great epitome for my big efforts and hard work. I would like to enhance my horizon and would like that people estimate my efforts.

Лучший праздник
Я хотела бы описать праздник, который понравился мне больше всего. Это был Новый год. Сколько я себя помню, мы всегда отмечали этот праздник дома, только я и моя семья. Конечно, мы все вместе нарядили елку, моя мама приготовила особый праздничный ужин и мы сели за стол. Все было очень мило и трогательно, но сне было немного скучно. И вот однажды мои родители решили отметить праздник вместе с друзьями.
Отмечание
Взяв с собой подарки и прочие элементы празднования, мы вышли из дома в одиннадцать часов. Обычно дорога до дома друзей родителей занимает у нас двадцать минут, но общественного транспорта в такой поздний час уже не было, поэтому мы попробовали поймать такси. Это оказалось не так просто. После всех приключений нам удалось добраться до места без четверти двенадцать как раз к началу праздника. Когда традиционная часть – я имею в виду бой курантов и стук бокалов с шампанским – была позади, все расслабились. В этой семье есть двое сыновей моего возраста, поэтому мы отправились играть, есть фрукты и конфеты пока родители смотрели телевизор и болтали.
Завершение праздника
Около трех часов ночи мы решили, что пора подышать свежим воздухом. Мы пошли на главную городскую площадь, где увидели Деда Мороза и, чтобы не замерзнуть, поучаствовали в разных конкурсах. Мы все отправились спать уже утром очень усталые, но довольные и счастливые.

A holiday I liked most
I would like to describe a holiday I liked most. It was a New Year’s Day. As I remember we always celebrated it at home, just me and my family. Of course we decorated a New Year’s Tree together, my mother cooked a very special tasty dinner and then we all sat at the table. That was quite nice and touchy but I felt a bit bored all the time. And once my parents decided to spend the holiday with our family friends.
The traditional part of the holiday
Having taken all the presents and holiday stuff we left the house at 11 o’clock. Usually it takes for about twenty minutes to get to our friends’ place but as it was no public transport available at that time of the evening, we tried to get a cab. It turned out to be not such an easy thing to do. After all, we arrived at a quarter to twelve, I’d say just in time for the celebration. When the traditional part of the holiday, I mean listening to the clock strike twelve and drinking to it, was finished, we all relaxed. There were two boys of my age in that family, so we were playing different games together and eating fruits and sweets all the time while our parents were watching TV and chatting.
At night
At about 3 o’clock at night we decided it was high time to get some fresh winter air. We went to the city main square where we saw Father Frost and took part in funny competitions in order not to get frozen. We all went to bed early in the morning exhausted but very happy and satisfied.
Conclusion
From that time on New Year has become one of my favourite holidays as it’s always a lot of fun and entertainment.

How my father missed the train
Once we were going on holiday on a train. When the train stopped at one of
the stations my father left the train to buy some newspapers and food. But he did
not have enough time to get on the train because there was a queue in the shop at
the railway station. Suddenly the train started to move. My father rushed to the
train and run after the train, but he couldn’t catch it. The train went without him.
My mother and I were very nervous. We did not know what to do. We decided
leave the train at the next station and to return to the previous station where our
father was waiting for us. But when the train arrived at the next station, my father
was already there! He had taken a taxi at the previous station and caught the train.
So he got on the train and we continued our trip. We were very happy!
July 22 was my birthday. This day I will remember for a long time. It was full of fun and joy. This day I spent with friends and family.
On the eve of my birthday, we went to sleep late in the evening because we were preparing for the celebration. We cleaned the house and prepared treats for my guests. In the morning I got up very early, but my parents got ahead of me. They prepared me with some presents. My mother gave me a beautiful dress, and my dad gave me a new tablet, which I need for the study.
After a festive breakfast, which included pancakes with fresh berries, we went to the store for a birthday cake. I chose the most delicious and most beautiful.
At 3 p.m. my guests arrived. I invited my classmates and friends from music school. We had fun, danced and played board games. My friends said nice words. I was happy.
In the evening, my grandparents joined us. They gave me a special gift - a white kitten, which I always dreamed of. It was the best gift that I have ever got. And my friends agreed with me. I will remember this day because he gave me a new friend.
22 июля был мой день рождения. Этот день я запомню надолго. Он был полон веселья и радости. Этот день я провел с друзьями и родными.
Накануне моего дня рождения мы легки очень поздно потому, что готовились к празднику. Мы убрались дома и приготовили угощения для гостей. Утром я встала очень рано, но мои родители меня опередили. Они приготовили мне подарки. Мама подарила мне красивое платье, а папа новый планшет, который мне нужен для учебы.
После праздничного завтрака, который включал блины со свежими ягодами, мы отправились в магазин за тортом. Я выбрала самый вкусный и самый красивый.
В 3 часа дня пришли мои гости. Я пригласила ребят со школы и друзей из музыкальной школы. Мы веселились, танцевали и играли в настольные игры. Мои друзья говорили приятные слова. Я была счастлива.
Вечером к нам присоединились мои бабушка и дедушка. Они подарили мне особый подарок – белого котенка, о котором я всегда мечтала. Это был лучший подарок. И мои друзья со мной согласились. Я запомню этот день, потому что он подарил мне нового друга.
