Цели: совершенствование речевых (диалогическая, монологическая форма) и грамматических навыков (числительные: количественные, порядковые, дроби, годы, арифметические действия): активизация лексических навыков, обучение аудированию с целью понимания общего содержания.

Оборудование: компьютерный экран, проектор, доска, упражнения, выполненные на компьютере с помощью программы для презентаций “ Power Point”.

Ход урока

1. Начало урока. Организационный момент – 1 мин.

Teacher: Good morning! Take your seats, please, and be ready for our lesson.

The theme of our lesson is “Learning foreign languages”. It is our revision lesson.

2. Повторение числительных – 5 мин.

Teacher: To be successful in our work we must review our grammar, I mean the topic “Numerals”.

3. Warming – up - 2 мин.

Teacher: To begin with, let’s remember proverbs about learning foreign languages. Match two parts and translate them. Repeat them after me, please.

4. Аудирование – 10 мин.

На урок приглашена ученица 11 класса, которая приготовила проект в форме презентации на экзамен по теме “Изучение иностранного языка”.

Teacher: Today we have a guest at our lesson. She is a pupil of the 11 th form. She is a top pupil. She has prepared a project on the topic “Learning foreign languages” in the form of presentation. Be attentive and listen to our guest.

Teacher: What strategies do you use while learning English?

8. Монологическое высказывание учащихся по теме – 5 мин.

Teacher: Now I want you to pick up everything and prepare your stories on the topic “Learning foreign languages”.

9. Заключительный этап урока. Подведение итогов, домашнее задание – 2 мин.

Teacher: Now I see that practically all of you will need English in future. I wish you success in learning it. Well, our lesson is almost over. Thank you for being active at the lesson. The theme of our lesson is “Learning foreign languages”. Today we are going to speak about the role of foreign languages in the life of the people and in your life. We are going to act dialogues, have some tasks in reading and listening comprehension, get some new information, then we’ll review some grammar material while using new words and expressions.

Let’s read the epigraph of our lesson.

T: These students are talking about their language learning experience. Listen to their conversation and be ready to do the test. Контроль понимания: “True or False” statements. Учащиеся записывают в тетради номер утверждения и указывают “True or False”. (Key: True – 1, 3, 4; False – 2, 5)

VI. Чтение учащимися текста с извлечением информации.

T: As you know the English language has become the lingua franca of the century. Read the short text “It is an Ordinary Language but …” Read the passage and be ready to answer what the author’s purpose in this passage is. Учащиеся получают тексты с тестовым заданием из сборника “Дополнительные упражнения по английскому языку к учебнику В. П. Кузовлева “English 9” для общеобразовательных учреждений. Время выполнения – 2 минуты.

It is an Ordinary Language but …

Britain`s influence on the world has been great. Take for example the influence of the English language around the world. The English language has become the lingua franca of the century. At present English is supposed to be better suited to play the role of a world language than other languages on earth. Unlike, for example, German, Russian, or Chinese, the simple structure and grammar of English, along with its tendency to use shorter, less abstract words and more-concise sentences, are all advantageous for the composers of song lyrics,

ad slogans, cartoon captions, newspaper headlines, and movie and TV dialogue. English has become the standard language of international communication and mass culture.

- They are interesting and helpful.
- How do you cope with phrasal verbs?
- I try to memorize them. But it isn’t easy.

- What do you think about learning grammar?
- It is necessary foundations. You must learn and practise grammar in any language.
- What is the most difficult thing for you in learning English?
- I think listening. I sometimes can’t get the idea of what I hear. And I have to listen to tape again and again.
- Learning a language is long hard and sometimes dull work. But … There are a lot of rewards for that work. I mean your ability to read, to communicate, to understand songs, to write, to travel abroad…

b) T: Some teenagers think that learning a language is long, hard and sometimes dull work. But there are some rules of memory which can help you to make this work easier. What kind of rules do you follow?

Think of your own dialogues for 2 minutes. Give your friend some advice on how to learn English easier.

Learning languages

Календарно-тематическое планирование. 9 класс 2 четверть.

Развивать навыки коммуникативной компетенции учащихся в монологической и диалогической речи. Активизировать в речи активный лексический материал. Вовлечь школьников в активную речевую деятельность на уроке путем использования современных средств обучения, групповой работы и игровых технологий. Обеспечить активную деятельность каждого ученика в течение всего урока, максимально увеличить время говорения каждого школьника.

Результат обучения

Смогут: Выявить истинные причины популярности английского языка, способности понимать чужую точку зрения.

Основные идеи

Опираясь на новые подходы к обучению (ДО, КМ, ОО, ОдО) продолжить совершенствование работы в группах. Обогащение словарного запаса учащихся является основой свободного владения английским языком, которое выражается в развитии диалогической и монологической речи. Расширить кругозор учащихся знаниями по данной теме
