The questionof communication in social nets has been discussed for a very long time. Some people say that it is important for teens, whereas others do not agree. They consider such interaction useless .

In my opinion communication in social networks is important for modern youth. First of all , social medias have become a part of modern life nowadays. For example , it is difficult to imagine a teen who would not have an account in Vk, Odnoklasniki, Fb, Instagram or TicTok. Secondly , communication is an integral part of human life. For instance , it is a scientific fact that humans cannot live without interaction with each other. In our time of digital technologies, traditional communication was widen by digital forms of social nets. Moreover , some teenagers even got social net dependence and had psychological troubles when they were separated from the Internet .

At the same time there are people who claim that social media communication is useless for youth. Young people better communicate with each other in person than on-line. Not everybody have gadgets for such communication as well .

I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. Some teens who live far away from big cities might prefer communicating face to face, but the majority follow the mainstream, exchanging their ideas through the social nets .

In conclusion , I would like to say there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight communication in the nets are not important for teens nowadays, but in actual fact it is a big part of their life. Thus , I strongly believe that social media interaction is important for modern teenagers .

Social media give us the opportunity to show our talents.
Social media is the quickest way to spread information and it’s the most economical way to tell the world something.

Disadvantages of Social Media

Personal data can be hacked and stolen.
Anyone can create a fake account and spread wrong information in order to mislead the users.
Some people spend too much time on social networks. Social networks and other online services will never replace communication in real life. That is why they should be used within reasonable limits.

Плюсы социальных сетей

Во-первых, это общение на расстоянии.

Социальная сеть – самый быстрый способ найти нужного человека и сообщить ему необходимую информацию. В любом месте, в любое время. Особенно ценным наличие аккаунта в какой-либо из соцсетей становится тогда, когда необходимо поддерживать связь с человеком, например, из другой страны. В этой ситуации важную роль играет, также, и экономия денег, ведь звонки в роуминге могут обойтись достаточно дорого, а Интернет, по сравнению, относительно недорогой ресурс.

Во-вторых, возможность выбора собеседника.Что это значит? Соцсеть является отличной возможностью для поиска друзей по интересам. Например, если Вы увлекаетесь шахматами, являетесь книголюбом или киноманом, занимаетесь каким-либо спортом, то Вы всегда сможете найти тех, кто разделит Ваши интересы, узнать мнение других, спросить совета в том или ином деле, а также договориться о встрече и совместном времяпровождении.

В-третьих, нахождение в центре событий и новостей.

Социальные сети – революция в скорости распространения новостей. В настоящий момент многие новостные организации устанавливают партнерство с социальными сетями для совместного сбора и распространения новостей. Можно всегда быть в курсе того, что происходит в мире, просто листая страничку новостей в своем аккаунте.

Nowadays millions of people use social networks. They got used to surfing on the Internet because it is quick and very easy to discover any wish. You don`t need to think of suggestions and ideas. At least what you need is to be able to type correctly.

I think social networks help disabled and lonely people very much. They can create an account and start communicating with other identical partners. Most of social networks are used by people to meet friends with similar interests and hobbies. Very often close — minded persons find each other on the Internet. Although people live far away from one another any network can unite them. Writing and receiving correspondence with the help of post is a long process. It takes time and money. More over a letter can be lost. But e-mail can`t be lost and doesn`t take much time. Social networks is a very useful invention of the 21st century. Thanks to modern technologies people can not only write different kinds of letters to their partners all over the world, but talk and see them by means of a web camera.

But on the other hand, social networks are a great trouble. They made people forget traditional heart-to-heart talk. Sometimes you can`t see the eyes of your partners and feel their emotions. Besides, social networks are full of aggressive, cruel, violent and dangerous videos for children. Many uncertain persons try to raise their self confidence using social networks.

I believe networks can be used by adult people and children at the age of fourteen and up. As for me, I use social networks with great pleasure as they give me a helping hand with my self-education and communication.

Сегодня миллионы людей пользуются социальными сетями. Они привыкли гулять по Интернету, так как легко и просто найти всё что хочешь. Тебе не нужно думать о предложениях и идеях. Минимум, что нужно, уметь -печатать правильно.

Я думаю, социальные сети очень помогают одиноким и больным людям. Они могут просто создать свой пароль и начать общаться с такими же партнерами. Большинство социальных сетей используются для того, чтобы завести друзей с аналогичными интересами и увлечениями. Очень часто близкие по духу люди находят друг друга в Интернете. Хотя они живут далеко друг от друга, любая сеть может объединить их. Написание и получение корреспонденции с помощью почты это долгий процесс. Он требует времени и денег. Более того, письмо может потеряться.

А электронная почта не теряется и не занимает много времени. Социальные сети -это очень полезное изобретение 21 века. Благодаря современным технологиям, люди имеют возможность не только писать различные виды писем своим партнерам по всему миру, но и разговаривать и видеть друг друга при помощи вебкамеры.

Но с другой стороны, социальные сети являются большой проблемой. Они заставили людей забыть традиционные душевные беседы. Иногда ты не видишь глаза собеседников и не чувствуешь их эмоций. Кроме того, социальные сети забиты жестокими, агрессивными и опасными для детей роликами. Многие неуверенные в себе люди пытаются повысить самооценку, используя сети.

Я полагаю, что пользоваться социальными сетями могут взрослые люди и дети в возрасте от четырнадцати лет и старше. Что касается меня, я с большим удовольствием пользуюсь сетями, так как они помогают мне в самообразовании и общении.

Минусы социальных сетей

Замена реального общения виртуальным является одним из самых существенных минусов. Подолгу общаясь в соцсетях, мы привыкаем выражать свои эмоции через буквы на клавиатуре и забываем о мимике, жестах, контактах глаз и реальных эмоциях. Иногда случается так, что в сети собеседник нам кажется интересным, находится много общих тем, есть о чем поговорить, однако при личной встрече это все куда-то пропадает. Многие люди просто чувствуют себя не в своей тарелке без компьютера или телефона под рукой.

Еще одним минусом соцсетей является незащищенность личной информации. Мы выкладываем свои фотографии, документы и другие личные данные, а ведь в нашем мире достаточно много компьютерных преступников, которые могут воспользоваться этой информацией для своих преступных целей.

Не сами сети породили эти минусы. Человеческий фактор – вот главная причина появления недостатков соцсетей.

Но вот если человек просто смотрит видео с котиками или смешные картинки, то тогда он, наверное, ищет расслабления и приятного занятия. Думаю, что ничего страшного, если ты посмотришь пять минут, а после вернешься к своим делам (к учебе). Переключаться тоже надо! Но если всё время там сидеть, то это как постоянно есть конфеты. Не очень хорошо! Конечно, гаджеты все плохо влияют на глаза, а из-за мигания и света в глаза – на мозг. Ещё там всякие волны вредные… В общем, нужно аккуратней. Иногда уж полезней смешную книгу полистать, чем часами в Интернете сидеть.

Nowadays social media have taken off. Some people say that communication in the Internet is essential for modern teenagers, while others claim that it is not so beneficial for young people. So is social media interaction important for modern teenagers?

As far as I am concerned, communication in the Internet is very advantageous for young people today. First and foremost, in the Net teenagers are given a chance to find new friends easier than in real life. In the virtual world nobody knows your psychological problems or your lack of appearance. Secondly, these days teenagers are always busy with homework and extra lessons, that is why fast communication between friends, which is given by the social networks, is very convenient and handy.

Thirdly, in the Internet young people can easily swap the information. It might be useful while doing school projects on different topics.

Nevertheless, other people think that social media interaction might be hazard for children in both psychological and physical health. It is said that teenagers may get addicted to social networks. Therefore, they will lack life communication, which is necessary for all humans. What is more, the often use of social media might lead to problems with the eyesight.

Despite this argument, I think that parents should always control the time of communication in the Internet. Very often children do not know the verge, because of this, they need to be constantly monitored to avoid bad consequences.

All things considered, though communication in the Net might affect young people’s health and psychological condition, I strongly believe that social media interaction plays one of the most important roles in teenagers’ lives. Due to the Internet, they are given a wonderful opportunity to make friends, communicate and transfer the information.

The problem of the importance of social media has been widely discussed in our society. Some people are absolutely sure that social networking sites are not important for communication between young people, while their opponents totally disagree.

To my mind , social media means much for teenagers. There are some things to be said in favour of my point of view. To begin with , the younger generation believes that social networking is the best means of communication. They spend all their time chatting, sharing photos or making new friends. Moreover , children often use social media in their study. These media have become important communication platform for teachers and students.

However, my opponents maintain the idea that social websites and applications do not matter much for modern teenagers. They claim that young people are too busy doing their homework, preparing for exams and doing sports that they simply do not have any time and desire to use social media.

I am afraid, I cannot agree with the argument that online interaction is unimportant for teenagers due to the fact that they do not have enough time for it. In my view , boys and girls have such a strong desire to chat with each other via the Internet that they always can find time for it.

In conclusion, the issue of social media importance is a controversial question and may arouse mixed feelings . At the same time, I strongly believe that there are no more important things in young people’s lives than their social networking sites.
