MY FLAT
My family and I live in a block of flats in the centre of the town. We are lucky to live on the third floor so we don’t have any problems if the lift breaks down. Our flat is very comfortable: we have two bedrooms, a sitting room and a kitchen. We spend most of our time as a family sitting and talking in the kitchen where we prepare our food.
We usually use our sitting-room to entertain guests and it is my favourite room in the flat because it is always nice and cheerful. There are lots of paintings on the walls of the sitting-room and the bookshelves are full of literary classics which have been in my family for a long time. We have a sofa, two comfortable armchairs and a large table in the sitting-room.The room is covered in warm pink wall-paper which makes it a very inviting room to sit in.
I share my bedroom with my sister and I also like this room. We have decorated our room with a variety of pictures and have made it very cozy looking. We also have a bathroom and a toilet so this makes our flat very convenient and luxurious.
We are fortunate that we have very nice neighbors surrounding us so this makes living in a flat very easy and enjoyable.

Comfort means freedom in everything. You have no problems, good relationship with friends and relatives, a well-paid job.

1)Frankly speaking I’m on good terms with my parents and grandparents. We don't have such problems as misunderstanding between the members of the family. I think that it is due to the age of my parents and their character.
2)First of all I should say that there is no problem of generation gap in my family. We try to be understanding, caring and loving. I can rely on my relatives in any situation. We can discuss everything and try to trust each other. So, we are on good terms.

In our flat I end up doing most of the household chores, really.
I don't mind this because Maria has a very busy lifestyle,
while mine is much more relaxed,
so I do most of the washing-up, cleaning and washing the clothes, cleaning the windows and these kind of things.
However, sometimes I get home and find that Maria's done it all,
so this is only a generalization really.
We try to share financial responsibility for the flat. Sometimes Maria gets a lot of work, while other times I have a lot of work,
so we both put in what we can, and things seem to bubble along OK.

well, I suppose if you're a housewife and that's what you've decided you want to be, then that's fine,
but you have to take all the duties that go with that.
So you have to be prepared to look after children and really play some part in their upbringing ,
and help them learn to read and write,
and teach them how to tell the time,
and do up their shoelaces ,
take them to school, things like that.
You also have to be prepared to do all the boring menial household duties.
However, I think that if a woman wants to go out to work, she should be able to.
Some people think it's really bad if the wife leaves the children,
puts them in a nursery school and goes out to work,
as if she was neglecting them,
but if she stayed at home with the children and was miserable, it wouldn't solve anything,
because maybe then she would just resent the children.
So, a woman should follow her own heart, I think,
and if she wants to work, then that's fine.

but I was always bottom in them as well.
So I don't sew now very often.
I could sew on a button, but that's all about it.

My room is not big either, I have a computer desk. This is where I do my homework.
As for the bathroom, there is not just a toilet and bathtub, there is also a cat litter box there. We have a cat, her name is Lilly, and she does not have a room, because the whole apartment is her room.
