Last Sunday morning we went to church with my family. After that we came back (вернулись) home and had lunch. Then we tidied up the flat.(Убирались в квартире) My mother did the ironing and my father washed the floor.(мыл пол) I helped him.
I go to school that was built in the 1980's to replace an overcrowding school in our local town centre. The main building of our school is two storey with four classes on each floor. We also have classes in outer buildings. Our classrooms are large and every classroom, in the main teaching block, has its own resource area. In all classrooms there is a CD Rom computer, overhead projector, white board and flip chart. We have interactive whiteboards in most classes. Each class is well resourced for all curriculum areas. Music Room We have a well equipped music room where class and individual lessons are held. Many of our students play a variety of musical instruments. As far as we are aware, we are the only school in our area to have a 'Singing and Signing' Choir. Library This is our reference library. It is used by all the classes weekly and also at lunch times. Every classroom has its own mini libraries too. Computers We have a computer suite of 32 computers as well as computers in every classroom. There about 1,150 students in my school, including 200 in the sixth form. It is called a Technology College and specialises in Computers and Maths. My school has over 1200 computers (including over 400 tablet PC's) I am in Year 8. I am presently having to decide what GCSEs I would like to start working towards. I sit my GCSE exams next year. Some subjects are compulsory like Maths, English, Science and a foreign language. I am not sure what other GSCEs I will be taking. I will have to decide soon

I am a pupil. I am waiting for my friends. We have to write an essay about the use of technology in modem society. I think I will write two paragraphs. I shall include some examples of the usage of the internet.
“Technology is everywhere. We can’t do without the usage of modern technology. There isn’t an area in our live where we don’t use technology.
Most of all we use the internet. We use it in our lessons; we use it when we get ready for our classes. Now we can study something through the internet.”

1 I am a student writing an essay for my teacher (Я студент, пишу эссе для моего учителя).
2 I have to write an essay giving my opinion on how the modern world relies too much upon technology and devices (Я обязан написать эссе, в котором будет свое суждение о том, как в современном мире очень много технологий и устройств).
3 I will write five paragraphs. The first one will be an introduction with my opinion. The second and third paragraph will present my viewpoint with reasons. The fourth paragraph will present an opposing viewpoint and the fifth paragraph will present my opinion again in different words (Я напишу 5 абзацев. 1-ый будет с моим мнением. 2-ой и 3-ий - представят свою точку зрения с указанием причин. I mostly eat at home with my family, but we occasionally eat out together for a special treat or a special occasion such as someone’s birthday. When we eat at home, we usually eat something simple, like roast chicken and salad, or fish pie, and when we eat out we usually go for Italian food like spaghetti or pizza. We sometimes go to other types of ethnic restaurants, too, like Indian or Thai.
I love curries! I also really enjoy eating all kinds of stir fries with prawns or beef and lots of vegetables. I think I have a generally healthy diet because I try to eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables and I don’t eat too much junk food. I do enjoy sweet treats though such as biscuits and chocolate, but I try not to eat them too often!

I think I eat quite well and mostly healthy food. I eat three times a day and get lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. I love to have a big breakfast in the morning before going to school. I usually have cereal with milk and some toast with honey. My parents don’t really allow me to eat to many sweets or fast food so I think my diet is healthy.

The answers were quite similar because we both answered all the questions but the model answer was longer than my answer. It was also more detailed. For instance, it gave fewer examples.
